These Bike Fenders both the front and back blocks most of the water and mud from going to your shirt. I rode my mountain bike from my house to work everyday for 4 years until I got my driver's license. That means not only during dry season, but also wet season. And I can only tell you one thing, this works just as they were intended to. Of course if you drive crazily fast on the a puddle of water, don't expect not to get any mud or wet stains on your shirt. Just as always if you see puddle of water and mud, at least, you have to slow down so that the stains will only go to your fenders not to your shirt or shorts. Plus disassembling and cleaning of these fenders are as easy as 1, 2, & 3. ... show more

Fender works great. My only gripe is that the instruction "book" is poorly written, in ridiculously small type, and the diagram is oddly drawn. Took me too long to figure out the proper way to install. However, admittedly I haven't worked on a bike since everyone was riding Schwinn Apple Crates so a more modern rider may find the instructions etc., a snap. Having said that, once I got in installed, the fender was put to use the next day and performed with flying colors. No more spray in my face or on my clothing. Another deal making key for me is the ability to remove the fender during normal days. Here in D.C., bike and bike parts theft is an epidemic, and so the ability to remove accessories is more than a mere convenience. I already had the rear SKS fender so I was confident of the quality...once I got it installed. ... show more

I'm more than happy with this part. It keeps the mud and water at bay while looking stylish. Easy installs. Exactly why I purchased it. The material is perfect. Not too flimsy yet not hard enough to snap off during a heavy crash. Sturdy. Good buy.

I needed a fender for a Diamondback mountain bike for puddles in the trail. This has performed well. I like that i can easily slip it off when I don't need it or when the bike is in transport. If I broke it, I'd buy another.

Easy to install and works great. Says it will fit up to 27.5 in tires. My bike has front suspension and 28 in tires. The fender was rubbing as soon as the fork compressed. I just used a heat gun to soften and reshape the fender -problem fixed
