We used this for well over a year till my daughter outgrew it- and we never had to reinflate it. But we did have to replace it because it got a hole in the little pocket but that was because I cleaned it a little too vigorously.

The biggest issue is the air valve being located at the bottom. When I put it inside my regular bathtub, I noticed that it could scratch or even crack the surface over time. The tub also doesn’t feel very stable when my baby leans to one side. While the storage pockets are useful, they’re a bit small for all the essentials.
