It would be a great product if it's made of aluminum. The plastic is ok but more flimsy. BTW, the original insert on the Skil table saw is also plastic. This dado insert is a perfect match with 8" Diablo dado blades. It allows up to 5/8 inch of cutting width. The additional washer nut makes it possible. ... show more

This is the perfect match for the jobsite 10" Skil table saw throat plate. Works perfectly with my dado stack blades on my table saw. This doesn't require any cutting to the plate for set up and is ready for you to use with your dado stack.

I would have preferred a metal plate but this plastic one is fairly sturdy and fits well on my Skil TS6307-00 table saw.
