It would be a great product if it's made of aluminum. The plastic is ok but more flimsy. BTW, the original insert on the Skil table saw is also plastic. Not sure what I was expecting as the stock insert was even more flimsy but this dado one is as well. Everything else about it is spot on. The fit, the tolerances, the adjustments. It’s a tad bit more rigid than the stock one but still very flimsy. Enough to throw off the accuracy of your cuts and be a safety issue. Maybe this is standard? I would recommend getting it because the way dados are cut you shouldn’t have too much downward pressure most of the time. I don’t know. For $16 just make your own. YouTube is your friend for that. ... show more
