Nice jigsaw and a good price. No tools needed to change blades, which is a big selling point. Cuts smooth as butter and accurate as well. Only need allen wrench to adjust angle. Some people said no blades were included, however, as I was getting ready to contact the seller about thinking mine were missing, I happened to drop my user manual. Lo and behold, the blades were wrapped in plastic, stuck between pages of the manual. I had picked up the manual and shook it out a couple times and didn't see them, but apparently were stuck to a page until I dropped it.     • Excellent value but a very sensitive trigger
This small jig saw is lightweight and has plenty of power for normal use. The orbital action is easy to adjust from zero to plenty for any average task. The variable speed is also fully adjustable based upon trigger pull. My only criticism is the trigger pull. It is VERY sensitive and it is easy to start the blade moving with the slightest touch. You must be careful when you pick this tool up and get it into your grip, otherwise the blade will be chopping away before you are ready for it. ... show more

I love this machine because its dense and feels good in my hands. It has 4 settings, and they affect how fast the blase moves and if you adjust them depending on what line you're cutting they do allow you to move more or stay straighter. For the price a great item. I do remodeling mostly and like corded power tools versus battery because most of the time my jobs have power, so if this is for a shop or work, I'd say it's good to go. Also, I left it in the rain for a couple days and it works fine. The plates screw is not very good at keeping it level, so I do have to tighten that a lot otherwise I'll end up cutting at an angle. ... show more

    • This Brand Is Seriously Impressive.
I am a Milwaukee guy for all of my cordless tools, but very quickly I am becoming a Skil guy with tools like these. I so far have the palm sander, the miter saw, and now this. For the price the quality is definitely unmatchable, and this product doesn't even feel like it is built to a price point. Very good for the price. Cannot compared it with others cause this is my first jig saw but I don't believe more expensive jig saws will offer more cutting perfection than this one. Maybe they will have more bells and wistles but that's all. Happy with my purchase.

Since I was a teenager a long time ago, this company has been rocking the carpenter tool world! My brother began his contracting business with a Skillsaw, there was only one in those days. If you need to ask, you don't need to know. Shopping for a Jigsaw I read several reviews on several brands. From the not so fancy $20 basic to the $200 super duper do it all and make your coffee models. But when I saw the brand name Skillsaw, read the specs, then I just noted the stars on Amazon, and purchased. On arrival from Amazon unpacked and reading the manual, inspected and tested. Absolutely everything it is known for, quality, precision, ease of use, and, last of all, owner joy with a wonderful tool.
