I'm glad I bought this because my 30-year-old Skil worm-drive circular saw (that still works perfectly) had become too heavy for this aging DIYer. I'm in the middle of renovating my basement and bought it on an impulse because of the weight and price/value ($59). So far, it's much easier for me to handle. It's no frills, but a pleasure to work with, and it came with a quality blade. For $100-200 more, I could have bought a cordless saw, which would be very cool and probably safer (not having to manage a cord). However, I'm accustomed to corded saws, I'm always near a power source, and I'm already over budget on my project - so this saw works perfectly. ... show more
