I use these as adjustable length safety lines while trimming trees and also for a small ropes course i setup in my backyard. The work well for this and I I trust my 200 pounds to them without any concern. I do not use them as tree climbing ropes which is supposed to be a designed use case. The jacket is loose and I don't know how it would stand up to the very rough bark of our live oak and red oak trees in my region. The prusik knot often needs two hands to adjust after having a high load pulled against it. The outer jacket bunches up and makes it difficult to slide the know without loosening it first. I have used the same setup but on a tightly jacketed rope and the idea definitely works. But the execution with this product is not quite as one handed as advertised. Regardless I would recommend this as a good value for a heavy duty safety line.

It will work but trees apparently get hungry and love to eat the outer layer of this thing which I don’t like I would honestly just get some better quality rope. Only reason I went with this is because it’s cheaper and that was a bad idea
