Finally! After trying 5 different shoes Skechers offers, these are THE ones! My foot is wide, has a high arch and toes are short(er). The slip-on styles I first tried had such tight elastic, continuous lacing and small openings (tongue sewn to the upper- can't be loosened) I couldn't cram my foot even 1/3 of the way in. These shoes are the exception. They're listed as "relaxed fit" and "extra wide fit". Foot slipped right in. The sole is built with a mild rocker last... it's gently curved as if you've already broken them in. Lotsa room in the toe box, and enough width to be instantly comfortable as I wore them the first time. Light, hopefully durable, looks good. Says "water repellent" - living in the PNW - we'll see. No wonder the Amazon page notes: "Customers usually keep this item." Cons... smell of the Goodyear sole "out-gassing"the volatiles present on synthetic rubber and plastic. I set them out in the sun for little more than a day and smell was diminished noticeable amount. But this is common with anything you buy that's made of plastic/synthetics.

I got these shoes for my husband he loves how comfortable they are he walks in them all day and says they are lightweight plus they provide great support they are waterproof and not too warm so they can be used in any weather the quality is amazing they last for a long time he has purchased these shoes many times and are his favorite the quality is excellent and durable

I bought these for my husband and they have worn well over the last 6 months. He likes the fit and support they provide. They are also a really nice looking boot. Sketchers does it again giving us yet another SUPER comfortable shoe!!!!

I bought these shoes based on their appearance as a casual boot but to my surprise upon receipt it was my opinion that they look like a work boot and not like the picture shown in the listing. I will say that they appear to be well made , they are comfortable but run big in the width . The pair that I got are what I ordered , size 13 M however like I said they are quite wide but the length gave plenty of extra room . I would say about 3/8 of an inch longer than my foot and the toe box has plenty of room. Personally I wouldn't use them for running or dancing and although I did'nt weigh them they felt heavier than the 2 pounds advertised. If they were narrower , I will say they would make a great work boot or even at this width would probably be great with thicker winter type socks as the boots really are very comfortable and seem well made and the tread is great and doubtfully slippery.

These are not hard use boots. The leather is soft. Perfect for light duty such as food service or the medical field. Very comfortable. These boots seem to run about a 1/2 size large( I normally wear a size 11, got 10.5 in these). They are also naturally wide fitting. I spend 10-12 hours a day on my feet and these boots remain comfortable throughout my shift. Literally no break in time. Great boots!

This will be the third pair of Boswells I’ve owned. They’ve been my partner hiking, biking, walking and wandering for the past 5+ years. They’re extremely comfortable, lightweight like all skechers, stylish and they wear evenly and still look good when they’re worn out! Thanks Skechers!!

I don't go wading through deep mud, but it can get wet on the rocky ground and my feet always stay dry! Durable? They're comfortable and have lasted a lot longer than department store outdoor boots! It's pretty rare that the boots outlive the shoestrings.
