If you like sketchers, you'll likely enjoy these as well. I am female, wearing either a size 8 or 8.5 I think I had to get the wide ones because the regulars were out of stock in that size that day. I have my leather arch support inserts in there. All is well. But they really are pretty waterproof which means they do not breathe well. So if you are a sweaty foot person, a waterproof boot may not be for you. I am not a sweaty foot person and even if my feet do get a little sweaty, they aren't all stinky. When it's super hot out like 85 to 105 degrees fahrenheit, I have noticed that my feet are wet inside my boot. LOL but in general, I have not had any trouble or true discomfort with the fact that they are a non-breathing waterproof pair of footwear. Pretty happy with them and will likely try to buy the same pair again the next time I need a shoe. These are my dailies. I wear them for all occasion. I only own two pairs of shoes so... I am on year three of wearing these boots. The are amazingly comfortable. I use them for hiking when it's either cold and or wet. While heavier than my regular hiking shoes, they really stand it to the terrain. With a good pair of wool socks, I can go all day and not have my feet hurt. I also use them for yard work or for any kind of work that requires me to be on my feet. And they still look very good. ... show more

Had this boot before and it's as comfortable as the first time. Lasted about three years of weekday use as an HVAC tech. Did alternate daily with another boot though. First pair cracked where the toes flex in a couple months, but wasn't a big issue for me.

These boots are very comfortable but I work in the department of corrections and I have to pass through a metal detector, so I have to remove my boots everytime I enter the facility because there's a metal shank in the bottom of the boot, that was not put in the description of the boots. I will be purchasing a different pair of shoes, so it was a waist of money with these boots. ... show more
