This seems to hold up well and doesn't have the bars that cut into you when sleeping. My only complaint is that it a bit narrow for a large person and can be a bit uncomfortable that way. If you have wide hips or broad shoulders you may want to add padding or keep looking.

This thing has been great. Don't buy it expecting to use it for backpacking, though. It is bulky. It's fairly heavy duty though, I weight around 230lb and it has been fine for me. Used it probably 10 times in the past 3 ish years. It's not too high, but not too short either. It does have an arch near the head area, which has bothered me but once I found the right pillow to work with it, I actually appreciate it now! Really nice for the price. ... show more

My only complaint is that the design of the cot itself lays flat for three quarters of the length, then the head end rises about 4-5 inches over the last foot. Not unlivable, just awkward for anyone who isn't a side-sleeper. Other than that, great product. With the quality of materials and assembly, this will be a keeper even if the end does lay weird. P.S. just a little advice I picked up from a van-lifer lady over the weekend. Instead of buying a cot mattress or topper, buy yourself three correctly sized outdoor/patio chair bottom cushions. They come with thicker/denser foam, they have waterproof/outdoor quality removable washable covers and those covers come with either tie strings or Velcro strips to connect them to each other and the cot itself so you don't roll the mattress out from under you or bunch it up as you sleep. ... show more

I bought this to use outside in the sun. Much better price than patio furniture loungers, better quality, stronger and more stable to lay on. So easy to fold up, use the attached clip to hold it closed and carry it without any problem. Not at all heavy, but not too light. I can carry it in and out of the house with ease.
