These boots are extremely comfortable. These may be the most comfortable work boots I've ever had on my feet. And that's saying a lot for a steel toe boot. I purchased the Sketcher Work Boots for my grandson as a gift. He loved them!! After about a week, I asked him if they were comfortable and he told me that they were very comfortable and didn’t have to broken-in. He chooses to walk to work and is on his feet his entire shift every day/night and then walks back home. We had rain for three consecutive weeks and he walked to work. The shoe was fantastic as far as comfort and fit go. The Sketchers work boots feel great. However, I’ve only had the shoes since my July 2 purchase and it’s already showing wear that shouldn’t be there after just two months. I’m a custodian for work, so I do a lot of walking but other than that, there’s no real hazard I work with that would put wear and tear on a work boot. ... show more

I use this product for my lube and mechanic type jobs. To start off, I will say that it does provide some slip resistance but I still kept slipping. Chocking it up to a smooth surface and oil would be understandable. Just note that you should still keep a firm foot on the ground and make sure your step is secure because this will not always work. Another bad thing to note is the wear this boot/shoe has experienced. After about 6 months of wearing it, the spot where the heels are already experiencing rips and tears. And even at the toe area, it feels like the sole starts to come up and slide between your toes. These things do not seem annoying at first until the pieces of the protection around those areas start to fall off. It feels like straight rocks go to your boot/shoe which is so bothersome. Otherwise, the protection is sweet. It’s protected my toes dozens of times from wrenches falling to whole 100+ pound tires. And regarding comfort? It’s firm. I weigh around 130 so the only thing I find discomforting is how heavy the shoe feels. Larger people may find it lighter to carry around, but less comfortable. All in all, does provide slight comfort and great protection, but wears easily and little slip resistance. ... show more

I got these for my husband cause he needed steel toe boots for work and quickly , these came in fast and are really nice looking. He says there as comfy as any steel toe but well worth the price and look .

These boots fit as expected, and last quite a while. I bought these previously, so I knew that I would need insoles to make these comfortable for all day wear. The memory foam insoles feel good at first, but don't really provide me with the support I need.

I bought these boots after watching a "Project Farm" YouTube video comparing different work boots (video titled "Are “CHEAP” Boots Better?") I was so impressed with the performance and value of these boots as shown in the review, I had to buy myself some. I now own multiple pairs, and absolutely love these boots. I need wide size shoes, and the wide versions of these boots fit perfect. I only wear these at most for a few hours at a time, but I've not had any issues with comfort as long as I'm wearing the right type of socks with them. I would not want to wear them for extended periods of time if I had thin or no socks on. ... show more
