The media could not be loaded. Great tool for new skaters. My nearly 2 year old son was unable to stand unassisted one public skate session. At the very next public skate session we went with Skateez he was able to march all over the ice all on his own. He was thrilled that he can now skate with his big sister.     • Sz Y8? NOT durable!
UPDATE: These broke after just 3 uses. Changing my rating to 1 star. These are great and do the job as intended. My only reason for 4 stars is that they really don't fit my son's Y8 skates properly. The "outriggers" are almost taller than the skate blades themselves, and the velcro can't be tightened enough for skates that small. The specs clearly say they should work, and lots of people's reviews say they work for 2yo. I would caution that if you're buying for sz Y8-9, be wary. Don't buy for any skates smaller than that. ... show more

    • Good product, does the job intended
Great product! A little pricey, but my son was much more stable with them. The rubber bumper they use to attach it to the skate could use some work. The tape on it didn't keep it on place. I ended up using my own mounting tape to put it on. I gave it 4 stars because on first use my son fell and the Skatee broke. The company did send me a replacement with no questions asked, so they made good on it, but I was hoping for a little more of a durable product considering the price point. ... show more

    • A great buy for a little one (or big one) learning how to skate!
I purchased these after doing some research online for skating tools to help my 4 year old be more confident with learning how to skate. The rinks around me don't provide the seals, milk crates or other devices to assist small skaters .... so I thought these looked pretty cool and kind of easy to tote around. I think they are great .... it doesn't necessarily give him absolute freedom to skate on his own like the milk crates etc would .... but it gives him more confidence to skate without holding on as it provides him with some balance .... ... show more

    • Do not work with figure skates
These are only work on a flat soled skate (hockey skates). I bought them to use on figure skates, but the angle of the sole causes the skate guards to tilt too far forward to be useful and the wedge doesn't help with the problem. Disappointed in this purchase.

Great concept and idea! People are the rink we’re super curious to what my little one had on to help him! Gave my son the confidence to get on the ice!

    • Doesn't work for every skate
They only work if you have space under the arch of your foot or middle of the skate to install it. The toddler size skates don't have that opening so it doesn't work.

    • Sturdy and easily used
The skateez skate enablers are fantastic. They are being used by my 2 year old grandson . He is able to go out on the ice and he can skate without falling down. I highly recommend them. They are sturdy and go onto the skate very easily
