The media could not be loaded. Wanted to make a speaker that fit my home decor. Decided on these to project my high frequency audio. Glad I did. Paired them with Infinity Kappa Perfect 300m midranges wired to 4 ohms. Sound good enough for even an audiophile. Highly recommend for car or home!

These things are loud and it’s great. Really nothing to complain about and price it’s great and personally ima big fan of skar products. I put these in my 02 jeep GC had to do some cutting for them but they are great. Haven’t had any problems with them except fitting but that’s on me to get it done😂. ... show more

    • Non standard size - magnet almost bigger than the speaker

What I liked is that they are cheap, good looking, high output speakers. What I do not like is they are giant non standard tweeters that require larger cutouts to install with no option to revert back to with few other options if any bolt in replacements. Seems to be a good upgrade for my older surf boat installation or other outdoor speakers but there is no way to reverted back to the smaller standardized non metallic tweeters which I am sure would be better for less overheard tinny hiss in enclosed (auto/home) installations where has this does not seem to be much of an issue or maybe even a benefit in the much larger open space application but I hate that newly cut larger holes which required notches for the terminals that are barely covered by the time of the speaker are there forever like a bad tattoo. They do sound amazing compared to cheapest of cheap Clarion crap. ... show more

I was building my own 2 way box speakers and a powered bass unit and used a 4" Dayton woofer and Timpano TPT-ST4 tweeter with a crossover unit. I kept getting such a high pitch from the tweeter that I finally had enough. I had tried reducing the treble on the receiver, but that really did not help. So I saw these Skar Audio VX35-ST and that they were rated the best sale on Amazon for a tweeter and I could see why. The high pitch is gone at low ends, high ends, low volume, high volume... These tweeters sound much better than the Timpano's. All the speakers are ohm matched along with the crossover unit, so it was not a mis-match in equipment where the tweeter was running on more power than the bass. Enjoy! ... show more
