I finally had to address the sound situation in my 2016 F-150 after the stock door units completely failed. At first when I took them out of the box. I thought they weren’t made to the quality you expect from skar. But after hooking them up in the door of my old dodge ram. They sound really good. I was expecting MID grade speakers for the price but was pleasantly surprised by how well these speakers sound. They have good bass without distortion, and the tweeters actually sound amazing. I now hear sounds in songs I've listened to hundreds of times that I did not know were there.

    • These are 5” speakers - 5.25” is mounting holes distance.

These sound good and the price is right. BUT the speakers are NOT 5.25” they are 5” circular frame.. the distance between the mounting holes diagonally is 5.25” measured diagonally. Measure your doors carefully or you will be purchasing and modding adapters. Not fun.
