Description

Scar Audio engineered the RP-75. 4ABM marine amplifier to set a new standard in marine grade amplifier performance. This four-channel marine amplifier is 2-ohm stable and utilizes a wide array premium internal components, such as its high speed MOSFET power supply as well as an advanced marine grade PCB board layout. Conservatively rated at 500 watts RMS power (125 watts x 4 channels), this amplifier will bring the speakers on your boat to life with unrivaled power output and sound clarity. The RP-75. 4ABM is extremely versatile as well with its compact physical design, which allows it to fit in a variety of tight or small locations on your boat. Also present on one side of the amplifier is a built-in user control panel that is fully adjustable - allowing you to dial in your sound exactly how you want it. Featuring adjustable controls for gain, high pass filter, low pass filter, a crossover switch, and more, you'll have full control over your listening experience. In addition to all the above features, this model also features four-way protection circuitry, which will give the user the peace of mind knowing they are protected against damage to the amplifier for various reasons - including electrical shortage, overheating, low voltage, and more. Our marine amplifiers feature a special marine coating internally that allow them to withstand the harshest conditions for long lasting use.

I was a bit suspect of the quality given the reasonable cost. I installed this as a replacement on my boat driving 4 3-way 6” full range speakers on two channels and a 10” sub bridged on the other two. I read the reviews and decided to give this upcoming Brand a try. I know they’ve been around but I’ve been a JL, Alpine and JBL fan. I replaced an amp that I had for 6 years in my boat. I was surprised to hear the same quality coming from this amp. I will be giving their speakers a try now.

In a pinch I decided to give this Amp a try. Figured even if it took two per season it was still cheaper than buying my 5th JL Audio Amp. This thing cranks out the power. Sounds great. No issues. Based on how well this Amp had done, ordering the mono amp to power a 12” subwoofer. In the middle of the lake shore can hear us loud and clear. No, I will start off with saying in the beginning, I was very very VERY skeptical about Skar Audio. I heard alot of good/bad stuff about them. I almost bought one of their ZVXv2 subs but it didn't come in a 10 inch, instead I found a brand new Orion hcca 10 on sale with warranty. Goldmime of a sub! I was watching countless videos on YouTube about the brand, with sub, amps, door speakers etc. I finally bit the bullet and bought this one. At first, the main issue I was experiencing was getting power to the amp. My own operator error, hey I am not perfect lol. Once power was established correctly, the blue LED light on the side came on and I was so relieved. I am a firm believer in Skar Audio. Day and night difference with my new (4) Kenwood 5 way 6x9s in my Dodge charger. If you are hestitate about a product, YouTube it and do the research like I did. Instead of me buying a mainstream overrated 4 channel amp (built off overhype from anywhere between 200-525), I got this one for $135 on sale price with Amazon. My opinion, this amp is underrated. I might have to get a big mono Skar Audio amp to feed my Orion hcca 10 sub. Hmmm, decisions........ decisions ... show more
