  • Sleek Skagen Design and Easy to Read
Color: Black Leather
I love this watch more than I thought I would. I had doubts based on some of the reviews but it's totally worth it. I love the way it looks; sleek, dainty and classic. The face is on the smaller side. Since I wear reading glasses I was worried that I'd have trouble seeing it but I can read this face easier than my larger Skagen watch. The reasons are that the face is silver but it's not "mirror" silver, the crystal number dots and lack of second hand make it easy to glance at quickly and read easily. There's no reason to struggle to look at a watch. The band is quite long, I think. My wrist is small but not tiny. I have it in the 3rd hole and there is plenty of band left over. I get what others have said about it "wrinkling" but what leather band doesn't? The timepiece itself keeps excellent time. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a beautiful, reliable watch. ... show more

  • Absolutely Beautiful!
Color: Two-Tone/Silver Mesh
I love Skagen watches. I have three that I have worn over the past 20 years and all of them still work well. These are quality watches. The watches that are 20 years old look like they did when I first bought them. This purchase is absolutely beautiful! The picture does not do justice by this watch. I like the smaller face on this watch. It is elegant, petite, and very attractive...truly a woman's watch. The face is easy to read. The two-tone mesh band is beautiful. The clasp is very easy to adjust for size. I just took the point of a fingernail file and popped up the adjustment plate, made the adjustment and pressed the plate back down...couldn't have been easier. The watch is lightweight and very comfortable to wear. You won't be disappointed with this watch. ... show more

  • Expensive-looking
Color: Gold/Silver
I have owned this exact same watch for many years. It finally got a slight defect in the band that I was able to repair myself but I wanted a new one in case my repair didn't hold. (The band is mesh and a tiny piece caused snags on clothing. It was easy to bend it back into its place, but just to be on the safe side, I wanted another watch exactly like this since I have never tired of it and have had many compliments.) It lies very flat on your arm and looks much more expensive than it is. I wear mostly silver but it also has a little gold on it so it goes with silver or gold. I really love watches and this is my favorite one ever. I also have a very skinny wrist and it is easy to change the size of the band yourself. If you have a large wrist, it will be plenty long to go around it. ... show more

  • Like so much I bought it again after losing the first one!
Color: Black Leather
This is actually the second time I bough this watch - I liked it so much, that I bought it again after I accidentally lost the first one! The watch is gorgeous, and I really like that it doesn't look silly or bulky on my small wrists, as a lot of other watches do. I have received numerous unsolicited compliments on this watch. I have had no problems with the watch keeping time, falling apart, or being difficult to set. I do not find the watch face to be too small, and I have no problem quickly glancing at the watch to see the time. (For reference, I wear neither distance nor reading glasses.) Overall, I would recommend this watch to anyone, specifically women with small wrists, who are looking for something very pleasant to wear at a decent price. ... show more

  • I loved the Danish Watches
Color: Silver/Silver Mesh
OK, they always used a high quality Japanese electronic movement inside. When I bought my first Skagen of Denmark watch (from a jewelry store) it was not inexpensive, but was not expensive either. Right in the middle sweet spot, where you were not broken hearted if something happened to it, but not embarrassed to wear it when you got dressed up. Danish, tasteful, elegant, design and best of all, factory Life Time Warranty (that really worked). Fast forward... Some purveyor of trendy, but mostly gaudy (in my opinion) fashion accessories, named "Fossil" buys the company. The Skagen watches stayed looking very much the same, but the lifetime warranty went away, and if anything, the price went down a bit. That is where we are today. The prices vary depending on the model you choose. Price to repair, if you need more than a battery change, may encourage you to just toss it in the drawer, and buy a nice fresh new one. Still not a bad choice, for a watch that looks stylish, but does not require a rider on your home owners insurance. ... show more

  • Beautiful
Color: Gold/Silver
I love this watch. I have a small wristband the size is perfect. I found it easy to adjust the strap to make it smaller. The face is not as easy to read as I was initially looking for (I have aging eyes!) but the crystal/Diamond chips are clearly visible. The first few days I had instances where the clasp came loose and watch came off. I was afraid I would have to return before I lost it. HOWEVER, it seems to be user error. As I got used to how the clasp works, it has quit coming loose. The band is so smooth and flexible and thin, just as I hoped it would be. ... show more

  • A Classic Woman's Watch
Color: Gold/Gold Mesh
I love the look of this watch, which is why I purchased a second of the same design when my original of over 10 years was stolen. It's a sleek design, and the metal mesh band is comfortable and durable. Because I have a small wrist I don't like bulky watches and this one is a perfect size. The band is fully adjustable, simply by opening a latch with a small screwdriver, so you're not limited to sizing it by the pre-determined holes in most bands. If my first one had not been stolen, it seemed like it would have lasted forever! ... show more

  • I love thiswatch
Color: Gold/Silver
I love this watch. It is elegant and sturdy, and the 2-tone style makes it compatible with my other jewelry. The crystal hour markers make it dressy enough for special occasions, but it is simple enough to wear every day. I have had the watch for 2 weeks and so far have had no trouble with the clasp. I am not particularly mechanical, but I had no problem adjusting the bracelet to my relatively small wrist. I thought the picture in the booklet was sufficient, though I would have benefited from some explanatory text. I am very impressed with the design of the clasp. There are three locking mechanisms to ensure that it doesn't fall off your wrist. You do have to be careful you press down on the metal clasp to lock it, but even if you mess up one time, the two other parts of the mechanism will keep the watch from falling off. I enthusiastically gave this watch five stars. ... show more
