I love this watch more than I thought I would. I had doubts based on some of the reviews but it's totally worth it. I love the way it looks; sleek, dainty and classic. The face is on the smaller side. Since I wear reading glasses I was worried that I'd have trouble seeing it but I can read this face easier than my larger Skagen watch. The reasons are that the face is silver but it's not "mirror" silver, the crystal number dots and lack of second hand make it easy to glance at quickly and read easily. There's no reason to struggle to look at a watch. The band is quite long, I think. My wrist is small but not tiny. I have it in the 3rd hole and there is plenty of band left over. I get what others have said about it "wrinkling" but what leather band doesn't? The timepiece itself keeps excellent time. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a beautiful, reliable watch. ... show more

This is actually the second time I bough this watch - I liked it so much, that I bought it again after I accidentally lost the first one! The watch is gorgeous, and I really like that it doesn't look silly or bulky on my small wrists, as a lot of other watches do. I have received numerous unsolicited compliments on this watch. I have had no problems with the watch keeping time, falling apart, or being difficult to set. I do not find the watch face to be too small, and I have no problem quickly glancing at the watch to see the time. (For reference, I wear neither distance nor reading glasses.) Overall, I would recommend this watch to anyone, specifically women with small wrists, who are looking for something very pleasant to wear at a decent price. ... show more

I have owned this exact same watch for many years. It finally got a slight defect in the band that I was able to repair myself but I wanted a new one in case my repair didn't hold. (The band is mesh and a tiny piece caused snags on clothing. It was easy to bend it back into its place, but just to be on the safe side, I wanted another watch exactly like this since I have never tired of it and have had many compliments.) It lies very flat on your arm and looks much more expensive than it is. I wear mostly silver but it also has a little gold on it so it goes with silver or gold. I really love watches and this is my favorite one ever. I also have a very skinny wrist and it is easy to change the size of the band yourself. If you have a large wrist, it will be plenty long to go around it. ... show more

I love this watch. I have a small wristband the size is perfect. I found it easy to adjust the strap to make it smaller. The face is not as easy to read as I was initially looking for (I have aging eyes!) but the crystal/Diamond chips are clearly visible. The first few days I had instances where the clasp came loose and watch came off. I was afraid I would have to return before I lost it. HOWEVER, it seems to be user error. As I got used to how the clasp works, it has quit coming loose. The band is so smooth and flexible and thin, just as I hoped it would be. ... show more

I love the look of this watch, which is why I purchased a second of the same design when my original of over 10 years was stolen. It's a sleek design, and the metal mesh band is comfortable and durable. Because I have a small wrist I don't like bulky watches and this one is a perfect size. The band is fully adjustable, simply by opening a latch with a small screwdriver, so you're not limited to sizing it by the pre-determined holes in most bands. This is the second time I've bought this watch. I recently had a battery replaced in my first one and I think the jeweler must not have tightened the back of the watch into place because about 2 months later, when removing the watch, the back was missing! I loved this watch because it "looked fancy" but also went well with jeans; I loved the gold and silver metals on it that allowed it to go with any jewelry I have; and I love that the band is so easily adjustable to fit any wrist. I looked into sending the watch to Skagen to have a new back placed on my first watch, but found it was more economical and wiser to get a "new" one from "another seller".....now I have a new watch and not just a new back on an old watch :) ... show more

I love the gold/silver combo. I went to the Skagen website and printed out the band instructions so they would be large enough to read. Used a small flat-head screwdriver and managed to adjust the band with just 1-2 false starts. Be sure to pay attention to the diagram as to which end of the band you're working with. Once you see how it goes (two parts click in place - one on top of another - it is easy to get off and on. I've only had it on a few minutes so don't have any long-range experience with it yet. I've had it a month, now, and It's keeping great time and I still love it.l ... show more

Love Skagen watches. Went to Skagen,Denmark shortly after I ordered this. They were more expensive there!!! Do wish it had a second hand but otherwise it’s the perfect watch. My old one was 20 years old!
