I haven’t made drinks before, but I do have friends who enjoy their alcoholic beverages, so when I have guests I’m sure this is going to get some good use. The overall set seems pretty comprehensive—at least, according to my knowledge. Again, I don’t typically make drinks, nor do I know the ins and outs of mixology. However! At a glance this set is very pretty to look at, so wherever you place it in your house, it’s gonna look nice. I admit, the main reason I wanted this set was because, besides allowing me to entertain my friends when they come over, I wanted to try making shaken espressos. That said, I’ve used the cocktail shaker and I can confidently say it does a great job at that. Just be sure to hold that sucker TIGHTLY closed while you’re shaking. Like I said—I’m really new to this stuff. Besides having all of the tools to make a drink and coming with a stand to hold it all, they also helpfully include a cute little booklet with a bunch of different drinks you can try to make. As a total newbie, I can see the value of this, and to be honest, someone like myself would be in dire need of it. Overall, I’m very happy with everything in this set and the way it looks. Also very happy with the pieces I’ve tried using so far.

I just received the Bartender Cocktail Shaker Set and I am impressed with both the look and feel of the items. It includes everything you could possibly need for a party, minus the alcohol. First, the stand it beautiful and well made of wood painted black. It is solid. The anti-slip mat is also very helpful when making drinks and keeping glasses from slipping around on the counter. Each piece is made of stainless steel and each piece really has a beautiful shine. It looks very elegant, friends will be impressed. The set looks heavy but are actually lightweight and this does not take away from the quality, it is a bonus. . We plan on using it for our outdoor parties by the pool and carrying heavy things in and out can get annoying. These are also rustroof so I can leave it outdoors and not worry about humidity. . The set looks much more expensive than it is and would be a great housewarming, birthday, or holiday gift for both men and woman. What I especially liked was the recipe book. I was expecting it to be a flimsy couple of pages but it is actually a really nice thick papered book filled with recipes and pictures for a ton of drinks. Overall, a really impressive quality bartender set.

Making craft cocktails is a hobby of mine and I like to have the right tools on hand. My old shaker rolled off the counter (long story) and got stuck closed. I saw this set that had a few pieces I either didn’t have or could use to replace so I decided to give it a try. Overall this is not as good quality as the set I had, but there are some nice pieces in it. The shaker is branded and thinner than the one I had, and the strainer part of the shaker inside is rough to the touch (not fully finished). It is still usable however and worked fine. The external strainer is fairly thin and has some markings/light damage on the handle. The muddler and bar mat are, in my opinion, the best parts of this set, along with the double sided measurer, which has markings for the various ounces. The opener is a little cheap looking, and the spoon/fork combo is cool and I will use it, however it is not fully smooth in places.

I don't have a clue about making my own cocktails but want to learn for hosting future family and/or other social gatherings. I ordered this set as a first step. The set includes a cocktail recipe booklet but no other instructions and no photo or illustration on the box, so after unboxing the set it took a little trial and error to put each of the set's tools in their proper holes in the stand. As a thorough newbie to mixology I don't even know yet what all of the items in this set are for, so that's a pretty good indication that this is probably as complete a set as anyone would need for home bartending. Each cocktail recipe in the booklet has a drawing showing which of the bartender tools are needed for that recipe, which is a nice touch. The booklet is divided into cocktail (example, Margarita) and Shot (example, B-52) sections. The tools are metal, so should last a good long time, and the stand is well-made and stable. If you want/need a home bartending kit, I can recommend this one.

If there's an item you need to make a mixed drink, it's probably included in this set. For all you get in this set, it might be a one-stop-shop for your bar. Everything in this set is high quality stainless steel and easy to use and easy to clean. The storage rack that is included actually holds every single piece of this set in it's own little place. You can't go wrong with this set.
