The quality of sk tools is amazing. They aren't as thick as craftsman. So you're able to get them into tighter spots. It is very difficult to break them. The only thing I don't like is this tool was 100% American made. Now it's made in China. The company that bought sk promises that they would keep the same quality. But we all know how stuff from China holds up.

This is my go-to set for small engine repair, bicycle maintenance and other maintenance in the garage. The EVA foam makes this set incredibly convenient and stores neatly and compactly in a tool drawer. I prefer the SK 160 over the 216 ratchets - mostly because the 160 feels more precise and refined. Have used this set to do maintenance on small engines such as change oil, change spark plugs, disassemble for carburetor, fuel line, cleaning or other random maintenance. Paired with a hex bit set, it is great for bicycle maintenance as well. Mostly I prefer this set to my assorted other Gearwrench and Tekton tools because of the EVA foam and how convenient it is with storage.

Just bought these knowing they were now Chinese made. As you can tell from the picture they present well. Fit in a 26 inch x 18 toolbox. Only negative is the ratchets are a little stiff and clickity versus the American Made SK Professional ones. I went ahead and bought those before this set. The sockets from the few I pulled look well made. The foam is a little tight but I assume it will break in with time. This is a set meant for a home toolbox meaning geared more towards a home garage rather than the portable kits. Which I prefer.
