I bought the 26” / 7-speed version of the Around The Block Women’s Cruiser for my wife for Christmas. Most importantly, she loves the bike 😊! TL;DR: Minor issues with shipment handling and documentation. Made up for with excellent service! Assembly went fairly well despite the instructions being intended for a slightly different model of the bike. The differences were not so vast that I couldn’t figure it out. A larger issue was with the front wheel when it arrived. It was bent so much that it would rub on the brake pads with enough force that the wheel wouldn’t spin freely past one rotation. I took the bike to a local bike shop for a tune-up and asked if they could make the wheel true. They were not able to fix it and stated the wheel was bent too much. I suspect the bent wheel was due to UPS handling. They were not too kind to the shipment because the box had a hole in it from apparent rough handling. And, the delivery person paid no attention to the clear instructions on the box stating “DO NOT LAY THIS BOX FLAT” as the box was laid flat on my porch. However, I contacted SixThreeZero and they sent a new wheel under the 30-day warranty which arrived in about a week. Their response was quick and the person I communicated with was very helpful. I was initially worried the replacement wheel would also be bent as it was shipped in a box that was way too big for the wheel and there was no packing material to keep it secure. It was in great shape though and replacing the bent wheel was straightforward. There were other minor issues too. The included documentation was dated with URLs that didn’t work. It was also not clear as to which model I should have selected to register the bike because none of the options on the SixThreeZero site aligned with the Amazon description. Another email to SixThreeZero asking which model I should select for registration was responded to within 8 minutes! So, after a free replacement wheel and some excellent customer service the bike is in great condition and I’d recommend buying from SixThreeZero.     • Pretty cool bike, customer service sent me tubes when they blew after only a day of having the bike.

I am generally very satisfied with this bike and would give it a 5-star rating. However, my wife had two flat tires after only riding it twice, which was a bit of a disappointment. I'm not sure if she ran over something that caused the flats, so I'll still give it a 4-star rating. The real issue I had was with the customer service. I warrantied the product and sent in emails about the tire problem, but I never received a reply. It's possible that the holidays may have played a role in the delay, but this was still very frustrating and is a common problem with companies that have poor customer service. I am willing to update my review if I receive a response and am satisfied with the resolution of the issue. Overall, I had a good experience with the bike, but the lack of response from customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. Update: It took about 10 days but I did get the new tubes for the tires. I purchased this bike and then I read the reviews. After reading reviews I was a little nervous of receiving my bike and the instructions for putting it together. Glad I did not read them before. My bike came in very well packed, and most the assembly was already done. Everything was protected and there were no scratches anywhere on the bike. The items I had to do were the front tire, handle bars, seat, back rack, peddles and reflector. Mine was a female bike and I now that my husband took it for a test drive he wants a new bike as well. love the bike. but the instructions were a bit out date so some assembly had to be redone. also, the picture on amazon shows a bike with hand brakes (and i usually shop by the picture), but if you read the fine print below it does state that the one speed does not have hand brakes. i did email the manufacturer for a couple of items (assembly and missing hand brakes), and they were super quick to respond. the manufacturer did say they would reach out to the seller about the picture on Amazon's website, since it's a bit misleading. ... show more

I love my bike, it feels sturdy and it’s easy to ride with the three speeds. Husband assembled it and he had prior knowledge assembling bikes so can’t comment to that. Love the color.

If you don't mind perhaps getting some replacement parts, particularly the brakes, this bike will probably be a great fit for you. But you'll also need some patience and maybe some of your own solutions for things. For starters, the instruction manual does technically tell you how to assemble your bike, but they're like, generic instructions for a totally separate bike, which isn't ideal. The bike includes useful tools for assembling everything on your own. However, my bike's handlebars came tightened insanely hard, and it was impossible to get enough leverage to loosen them without something extending the provided hex wrench or by using a power tool. The color of the bike is great. Not quite as striking a seafoam green as in the product listing, but still quite attractive looking, as well as the design. The gear shifters are grippy and nice, and the handlebar grips are comfortable, though the gear shifters are a little stocky, and the cables jut out really far and are easy to snag on things. But in particular, the brakes are horrible. I don't know why they think this is okay, but the brakes sound like a horn when you're holding them, and they're not even good. Oftentimes I'll have to white knuckle both of them to stop anywhere near quickly, and I did in fact adjust the brake tension. I've just been stopping with my shoes instead. I haven't tried replacing them yet, but I would imagine it's because the brakes are made of some... cheap polymer or something. The bike seat also seems to wiggle forwards and backwards no matter how tightly I adjust it, so I may replace that too. All in all, a little expensive for what I feel like I got out of it, but it is a nice-looking bike. That's probably what you're here for anyway. ... show more
