so, ive never played with uncoated steels before. they sound amazing. real tinny, great trebles, im loving slapping on them and i can get some gritty tones. the trick is that i have to get used to the fricion first.

I use SITs on my guitars and like them, so I tried them for the bass. Very disappointed. I'm not actually very picky when it comes to strings and it's pretty rare that I would take strings off before they are "used up" but I can't wait to get these off my bass.
