I really love this cup. I eat canned chunky soups. I have always had a problem finding the right size container to put them in to heat and eat from. This cup is the perfect size for them. Although these are billed as soup mugs -- and it does a great job with that -- we've found other uses that are equally good. One of our favorites is using it to heat a little half-and-half in the microwave, then using an inexpensive frother to whip it up for a few seconds, -- and you'll end up with the richest, thickest foam for a latte or a cappuccino. Honestly, we could not be more pleased with it, and it's a pretty inexpensive way to really impress the heck out of your friends. ... show more

    • Amazing Cup!
I bought a few of these cups for my dad. He's blind and living alone since mom passed, so anything like this I can find to help make his life a little easier I jump on. He LOVES them. Just today he told me how when he was heating soup he heard a loud BOOM from the microwave and expected a huge mess, but there was not a drop of soup anywhere outside the bowl. Amazing. He got hot soup he can pull out without burning himself and I don't have to spend my next visit scraping burnt, dried napalm peas off the microwave walls. That is a win win for us both! I also have to mention this brand's rice cooker. It is amazeballs too. Cooks up a cup of raw rice in about 10 minutes with no fuss.
