I bought this for my 11yo for Christmas. Not gonna lie, I want one now. They’re a freaking blast! But for. Real, they ride very smoothly. Her brother has another style from the same brand and they ride them around outside a lot and have no issues except maybe on the grass but at the time the ground was a bit wet and mooshy so not sure how they work when it’s dry. Very heavy duty, not cheap feeling. They’ve been banged up a bit from running in to things and carting them around but seem very durable. This one doesn’t have fancy lighting on the wheel wells but the lights up front are neat and work just fine. The charge seems reasonable. I just make sure when they are with me with them that they get plugged in when not in use because they notoriously will use them constantly and forget to plug them in so it makes it’s little annoying battery dying sound and they get bummed out. I think they can get a good couple hours out of random off and on riding when they take it outside? Don’t quote me there.

Gave to an 8 year old as a birthday present. She loved it! Even I ride around on it a bit. Functional, easy to learn, battery life isn't bad, easy to recalibrate, all around it was worth buying!

First one I bough had to return due to it arriving damaged. So that's the reason for the 4 stars. Luckily it was before the 30 days so they sent me a label to return and sent me a new one. Works great!

This product looks exactly like the photos and is a really nice product, however is too dangerous to be a “toy” for children. When attempting to show my daughter how to use it the hover board hit a trash bag and threw me off. Causing me to spend Christmas in the ER, with torn ligaments in my foot. I am returning and advise all parents to not get this for children. Edited to add after a misdiagnosis and a very expensive MRI of my foot it was that I had fractured my heel, I spent 2 1/2 in a boot and on crutches unable to work due to my two minute ride on this hoverboard! Extremely dangerous and should not be a child’s toy.

My daughter loves she hasn’t stop riding since she unwrapped it for Christmas. Battery life is excellent. Very silent when riding Bluetooth capabilities!!!
