Well worth the money for any professional barber. Razor sharp, and no hair tugging. You could spend thousands on a super high quality scissor, OR get something like this which will last you quite a while, and then you get another pair when it dulls. This pair of scissors has a nice "heft" to it but with a balanced feel. The hinge is well lubed as well.

I bought the scissors to cut my thick curly hair. I do not want to pay $140 to the hair salon for all time. The blades are sharp and it has an adjuster. I'm a beginner so I need to get used to how to hold professional scissors which is not easy for me now.

I'm amateur at best...although I think these make me a better stylist. Never knew how much good shears make a difference til now. I have thicker fingers and they fit great and very comfortable. You can tell they are a quality scissor and careful, they are very sharp!
