They break just barely above my knees. I'm sure they will be fine after being washed and I'm sure they will be fine even if they shrink. The colors were spot on with the advertisement. There are no back pockets, the front pockets could be a little deeper but they are sufficient. They are extremely lightweight, but not to the point of being see-through.
