Purchased and received same day before heading to the NJ shore. The house we rent has a very firm mattress which kills my lower back every time. For a relatively inexpensive foam topper, this worked really well. It is pretty comfortable for only 1.5” thick. I would recommend. The only “downside” is that once it fully expands for use, it takes up a fair amount of space when rolled back up for storage (but that is to be expected).

My first impression was that this topper feels lighter and thinner than the big 3‑inch slabs out there, but once it was on the bed, the comfort difference was immediate. It has that medium‑soft give that takes the edge off a firm mattress without swallowing you whole. I put it on a Twin XL dorm‑style bed, and it fit cleanly from corner to corner with no weird overhang or shifting. The 7‑zone design isn’t something you feel in a dramatic way — it’s more of a subtle “ah, this is nicer” effect when you lie down. Pressure points ease up, especially around the hips and shoulders, and it adds just enough plushness to make a stiff mattress feel more forgiving. The cooling gel doesn’t make the topper cold, but it does keep it from feeling stuffy, which is all I really want from gel foam. It’s a good value for what it is: a comfort upgrade, not a full mattress makeover. If your bed is rock‑hard, this softens it. If your bed is already soft, this will probably be too much. Mine landed right in the sweet spot. If you want a simple, budget‑friendly way to make a firm Twin XL mattress more comfortable — especially in a dorm or guest room — this topper is a solid pick.

This topper softens only a bit= my Medium Firm mattress. It would be perfect for someone who is a back sleeper on a softer bed than my new bed is! I love this topper as it was so easy to use right out of the box ; but it is 1.5” thick and I should have gotten a 3”! I didn’t know the difference as my bed is brand new and many ads state to get a topper for an old mattress, etc! I don’t want too soft but I’m a side sleeper on the right edge of my hybrid firm bed which should use a thicker topper as my Orthopedic physician suggested! I therefore just decided to exchange this one for a 3” topper but this manufacturer doesn’t sell the same topper in full size …Therefore, I must return according to my orthopedist Recommendation and order the correct size topper for The Rest Of My Life! I guess this 1.5” topper was a case of “mistaken Identity” as I imagined it would cushion me where I need it but it was not thick enough! I just put in my replacement order for a 3” full size similar topper on Amazon! You make a very good product but perhaps it would be beneficial to all concerned to explain the different thicknesses re: their uses for different buyer’s needs Not everyone is a topper expert except the one who designs & or makes them! 😇
