  • Great arm specially for price!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve only had this arm for a couple hours so take this review with a grain of salt. This is my first arm and I’m happy I chose this product. For around $30, I decided to get two for my Dell S2716DGR’s. They are very firm arms once you calibrate it right. Installation was VERY easy, a 3 year old can do it. Only tricky part in my opinion was holding the monitor while screwing it in. Luckily, I had my mom help! I haven’t tried any other arms so I can’t compare but for the price, these seem too good to be true! EDIT: after over a year, STILL works perfectly! ... show more

  • Great Monitor arm for attaching a Graphics Tablet to.
I don't normally write reviews for my purchases, but I do find reviews very helpful in deciding on my purchases. I purchased this arm to attach my Huion Kamvas Pro 20 to so it is easier for me to use, I have a small workstation and don't always use my graphics tablet, I still like being able to use my mouse and keyboard even when I am working on my tablet. This arm enables me to swing it in and out of my desk as per needed. The supplied stand for my Kamvas just din't work well for my setup due to lack of space, and I could't use my mouse and keyboard very well with it like that. I was really dubious whether this arm would work for my situation, but it does it also allows me to rotate my tablet when I am drawing on it which is really helpful in certain situations. The cable routing option also is a blessing in my situation and it keeps the three cable's I need to attach my tablet to my laptop and the power point tidy and out of the way. So, if you are looking for an arm to attach your graphics tablet to this is a great choice, I don't know if it would work so well on any of the larger sized tablets than mine, but it would definitely work on any of the smaller versions. I hope this review will help anyone looking at this for a similar situation to mine. ... show more

  • Excellent product
Works very well. Used it on my girlfriend's standing desk first. Worked so well on the first one I bought another for my office. I have 23 inch and a 22 inch HP monitors on them. They pivot well and I haven't had any issues with the monitors falling because of weight, but they are pretty light.

  • Not for monitors in portrait view....potentially OK for landscape, but with issues.
Please see attached customer image. The joint that would normally allow the monitor to be angled left or right (in landscape view) has no way to adjust the tension. This made the stand unusable (at least the one that I received) because it would freely "flop" to one side or the other unless I had both the desk and the arm perfectly level and then didn't touch the monitor at all. This joint was so free that even a slight bump on the bottom or side of the monitor would cause it to flop uncontrollably to one side or the other. When turned to portrait view, gravity would just cause the monitor to swing so it was constantly angled downward. This would be fine if it were for a "display only" monitor and only if it were mounted high up somewhere (like monitors in an airport terminal). For a typical office situation, I can't imagine it being practical. Maybe I received a stand with a very weak or damaged joint. If it had some general tension there (even if there isn't a way for tension adjustment at that point), it *might* be acceptable. ... show more

  • Only raises monitor 14" above desk
This was an impulse Cyber Monday buy, and I now wish I had bought one with greater height extension. I measure 14" from the table top to the center of the monitor mount. I wish it could go about 2" higher. I'll probably add a block to the table to raise it more, at the risk of lower stability. Other than that, assembly was straight forward. It took quite a number of turns to tighten the spring enough for my monitor, which is on the heavy side. The tilt adjustment also required a lot of tightening. In use, raising and lowering the monitor is pretty easy, but it's hard to adjust the tilt without the monitor drooping. ... show more

  • Heavy monitors need a better mount
I used this mount for a 15 lbs 34" monitor and I had to pretty much lock the adjustment screws for it to stay in place. I'm definitely happy with the mount. It looks clean and cables are flush within the cable ducts inside the mount. I kinda expected it not to have full range of motion with such a heavy monitor, but it stated it supported up to 17 lbs, which should come with a footnote that it's not adjustable without an allen wrench. Smaller monitors should be okay to swivel and move around within the range of the gas springs, but heavier ones are outside the range of the air pressure of the gas spring. I'd say that about 10 lbs is the maximum this mount is designed for. ... show more

  • If you have a desk with metal frame rails under, you'll need a block of wood.
If you have a desk with a metal frame under the wood, you'll need a small wood block. The instructions say use a piece of wood or book.. dont use a book.. After finding and sanding a block of wood to be the equal height of my frame rail edge to bottom of the wood, I finally was able to firmly clamp it down with equal pressure underneath. You want the clamp cup on the bottom to have a flat area to tighten to, on modern desks, the frame rails are close to the edge and it wouldn't be stable unless there's an extra block next to the rail. It works perfectly and holds my old heavy monitor fine. My only issue is the whole wood block issue for certain desks and it doesn't go up as high as I thought. I wanted to use my laptop under it, but my laptop screen still sits higher than the bottom of my monitor. Otherwise it's well made and I'd recommend. ... show more

  • One year of ownership later...
I've owned this product for close to a year to act as a vertical side mount for my 24" monitor to go alongside my 32" main monitor. I can safely say this stand feels sturdy, holds the monitor well, and does not droop. I've moved to a new house and re-set-up my desktop area and the stand was easy to reconfigure. The allen wrench tightening system for the arm works as intended and leaves nothing to be desired. Really impressed with this stand, and may end up getting another (for another vertical monitor on the other side!) ... show more
