Really nice item. From removal of the old radio to turning on and using carplay took less than an hour. Seeks, finds and connects to Bluetooth successfully every single time I get in the car. I installed another Mfg. that is very temperamental and fails regularly to connect to Bluetooth. Installed in a 79 Triumph Spitfire. No electronic interference whatsoever. Phone reception and Siri commands are heard and understood as good as OE installed radios.

Very easy to install, connect to my phone easy ! Screen was a little bigger than I expected which was nice! Very accurate on the touch responsive I control work. Great you would think they ain’t gonna work that good for the money. It works amazing so very good. Great for the value that you paid for this so if you don’t have one, get you on I will recommend this radio myself.

Just got it installed. Good value. Screen is nice, touch is sensitive enough and clarity is good. Can't see screen with polarized glasses (have to turn head to side), which sucks as I always wear polarized sunglasses. Install pretty straight forward. Backup camera instructions install was incorrect saying to connect to pink wire on B Connector which the only pink wire is C connector, which was correct. Microphone cord is short, couldn't get it to the visor, could have added 2-3ft. Instructions are pretty generic so take your time. Bluetooth worked great and fired up Android Auto with no problem. Backup camera is fine, decent quality. In my 1st Gen Xterra the volume knob touches the trim making it a bit hard to control volume. Remote had no instruction how to install or use. Again generic instructions. Will update after some time.

Honestly, I can't comment on the audio quality output of the receiver since I have not put in new speakers into this project car but, it still sounds good with the stock speakers in the car. Something I really like is that the EQ has a very huge selection of frequencies to adjust to your liking. The wireless carplay is seamless and works very great. Came with all the wiring needed, the screen looks nice and bright, and the UI is not confusing to navigate, and it fit perfectly into my single din trim piece. For the steering wheel controls, they are fine but obviously its not as great as hardwired steering controls but it does the job. Overall for budget friendly option to put in your project car or older daily driver to modernize it, its a perfect addition to your car. Absolutely zero buzzing or interference like some reviews claim to have. So if i had to rate it on terms of functionality without taking audio output into account, id give it a 10/10 so far as of 2026 and will update review if something changes. Just make sure to wire it properly.
