Haven't had a chance to try it yet. Didn't realize it was bigger than the slot in my car. I'll make it fit. Also, none of the wires match what's in my car but again, I'll figure it out. I like how it looks. Partner got it installed, works amazing. Whomever had this car before I did, messed up a lot of the wires. Most of them didn't go or match up like they were supposed to. Even using a Subaru website to try and figure it out didn't work. But it's in and works amazing.

Save your money and buy something better. Sounds fine, but lacking in quality. Feels cheap. Very cheap. I guess that’s what you get for a cd stereo under $70. I had to cut four little tabs off of the sides of the face plate to make it work with the dash install kit, so no returning this one I guess. Also, I had to custom-cut-to-length four screws to mount it to the dash kit. Neither the dash kit or the stereo came with any mounting screws. Installation aside, the cd I put in to test started to skip and loose tracking, but I ejected it, then reinserted it, but keeps messing up and loosing tracking when it wants to. Most functions are intuitively easy to figure out, but don’t loose the manual. No detachable face plate, it wasn’t listed in the features online. Hope all goes well, but would NOT buy again. If you plan on keeping your car for more than a year, buy something with an established brand name and a little more expensive.

The stereo came in the original box and was not sealed or in another box. The unit sounds great and was easy to install / program but didn't come with a face plate to cover the mounting brackets. Looks cheesy. The remote never worked and it's impossible to contact someone swap it out - I am not going to un-install the unit to send it all back either. Wish someone would just swap the remote -
