I had never made pleated drapes before and this book saved the day. It has several different ways to make pleated drapes and gives you a formula to work out the yardage and number of pleats and spaces that you will need. Plus it has instructions for lots of other kinds of drapes - tab top, gathered, pocket, lined and unlined. The instructions are very clear and well written. One very minor annoyance was that I did find myself flipping back and forth between the basic drape making pages and the pleated drapes pages, but I guess that sort of organization could not be helped.
