My son loves these pjs. He's 4 years old and I bought a size 5 so he had a little time to wear and grown into it. The capes velcro is strong and I suspect with my rough boy it will last. He likes wearing this at a costume. The outfit is also nice enough you could wear out.

Another reviewer made a good point… the scratchy hook side of the Velcro really should be on the cape so that the soft side is on the shirt. It’s impossible for the shirt not to get all snagged up in the washer. It’s it’s own worst enemy. It must be carefully hung when not being worn. This Darth Vader costume was listed as swimwear. The shorts included with the top are a lower quality basketball short, not swimwear at all. We will be keeping the outfit, however, because our son was so excited to receive it.

This is a cute outfit with Darth Vader on it. My on;y complaint would be the velcro for the cape doesn't mix well with the shirt material and tends to snag it in the wash.

My son is 5 and pretty tall, wears a size 7. I would say the size 7 fit more like a 5. Super short on him and the Velcro shoulder spot that attaches the cape is super itchy. Going to have to send back before our Disney trip next week :/

    • Cool set. Bad Velcro implementation.
Size: 5T Color: Black
Son loved it. Fit as expected. Quality was just okay. My main complaint is bad Velcro implementation. They sowed the hooks on the shirt and the loops on the cape. Should be the other way around so that if you wear the shirt without the cape you don’t stop stick to furniture, coats, etc.
