The steamer seems to have quite a bit of weight to it. The materials seem quality made. But you will get tired pretty quickly using this steamer. Especially if you're an elderly person. It comes with a couple of attachments. A lint brush, and a garment brush. Make sure you attach it prior to turning the steamer on; because the steamer can get awful hot. And you could have a tendency to burn yourself. Quite a bit of steam comes out of the unit. I actually chose a brand new shower curtain, and a brand new pair of pants. However, I did notice that it doesn't take out the wrinkles that fast even with all that steam. It takes quite a bit of time to work the steam out. It's better if you use the garment brush. Because you're kind of raking it back and forth which helps the wrinkles to come out. Despite working it for 15 minutes, I still was left with a few wrinkles on my garments. It actually comes with a really small manual. It looks larger because it has multiple languages. But mostly the manual just points out what each part of the unit is called; which is kind of self-explanatory. It gives you a little bit of upkeep advice. But that's about it. It doesn't tell you how long it takes to get wrinkles out. It doesn't tell you the best benefits and when to use the lint brush, or the garment brush. You kind of have to figure that out yourself. Once I fill the bottom reservoir with water, I snapped it back in...then turned on the unit. It took just seconds for it to heat up. So you're not going to have to wait a long time. But because it is steam, it does leave the garments damp the longer you use it. So expect to let your clothes air dry for a couple of minutes before you put them on. I experience less success with my shower curtain. Little patches I saw where the creases finally came out. But there was so many creases that were left where the shower curtain was folded in the package. Those creases don't come out too easy. But they will eventually, I imagine. All in all there's a lot about this steamer I like. It has a very sturdy base, so it doesn't tip over easy. And it's very easy to refill the unit when you run out of water, without burning yourself. It's just that due to the weight of the steamer, and it taking quite a few minutes to get the wrinkles out of the garments, I took one star off. ... show more

You can get handheld steamers for something in the $20 range, but the question is: should you? I've had a bunch of those in my day, and this one really packs a punch. Those steamers seem to not work very well after a short amount of time. I've even had some that got moldy. This one has been working like a workhorse since I got it. It's incredibly important with any steamer that you use purified or distilled water so as not too gunk up your machine. This thing works beautifully, and I expect it to last much longer than the cheaper steamers that I've had. Buy this one once instead of the cheaper ones multiple times. ... show more

I ordered this steamer to use on my nerdy RSVLTS shirts which are 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Those shirts have had creases in them since I got them, even after washing (cannot iron them). This steamer is easy to set up/use and removed the creases in the shirts without damaging the fabric. I'm sure I'll find plenty of other uses for this steamer as well as it is a lot easier and more convenient to use versus ironing. This a minor thing, but the one issue I have with the design of this steamer is that when you try and empty the excess water from the reservoir (recommended for storage to prevent mold growth), a small amount of water remains trapped in the tank... very hard to get it all out. I had to let the reservoir dry out overnight before reassembling the unit and storing. The product title says, "Great for Travel", but I don't know about that. It's 11.25" tall and bulky. Seems like a lot to stuff in a suitcase compared to some smaller travel steamers I have seen. I see this as more of a home use steamer due to the size, which it does great for that purpose. Make sure and use distilled water in the unit to prevent clogging and white specs on steamed fabric. ... show more

This is the perfect item if you are looking to have a travel sized steamer with you. Get rid of those wrinkles in a timely and quick manner without having to look for or carry around an iron everywhere you go. Heats up in seconds and easy to fill up with water to start steaming those wrinkles away. Small enough size makes it perfect to travel with and carries enough water storage in the tank to be able to steam away wrinkles from at least 2-3 clothing items per tank. Got this for my boyfriend who irons his work clothes every morning. So much more convenience of not having to get out ironing board and set everything up. Just hang garment up & run steam over it…wrinkles be gone! Definitely worth it 👍🏾
