The media could not be loaded. First of all when I received this I was pleasantly surprised! Look at Al the stuff that came in my box ! 20 thread holders, bobbins , of course the beautiful embroidery thread, thread nets, and a 10 yard roll of stabilizer. And my Bernette b79 loves this brand of thread - I have tried others with less success. And how beautiful did my fringed bear come out. My first time stitching out that design I was so happy. Definitely recommend Simthread and this set is a super deal.

For embroidery I normally use rayon thread but those spools can be pricey, especially if I only need a little bit of a particular color, so I was interested to see how this thread compares. It was very easy to work with and stitched beautifully and with so many colors in the set this is a great for if you're just starting out or if you need to refill a bunch of colors. Be aware that these spools are small, around 2" tall with 550 yards, so if you're stitching dozens of tote bags or something like that you'll run out the spool fairly quickly. But the thread itself is very nice with a good sheen, I had no problems with the thread snapping or tangling on my Pfaff embroidery machine with the thread holder in the vertical position. The included tear away stabilizer also worked great with no puckering or ripping during stitching and it tore away very cleanly, you can barely see just the tiniest bits left in the upper corner of the leaf but other than that it tore away easily with little effort. I'm impressed with this thread so far and I'm glad I have a good alternative to more expensive brands, especially for gradient designs where I need a little bit of a lot of colors. I recommend it.

Great starter set for trying out machine embroidery if the thread spins in correct direction. Stabilizer is a bit stiffer than others but still works and tears great. Thread huggers work well to keep thread from unwound. Thread itself is good but it gets caught often because its winding direction. Thread should feed from the bottom of the spool when it is on the horizontal spool holder on the machine but this feeds from the top which pulls the spool off the holder and cause thread to get caught and break. I have to use a thread stand for this thread instead of placing it on my machine.

This is a great thread set. There are plenty of neutrals, which is often left out of beginner or starter sets. If you need a nice array of colors, this is a great startup for your embroidery! The thread itself is very well made and can be lubricated for faster speeds and less breakage. You'll need a thread tree for these cones. Even if they fit in your machine's built-in thread spool holder, these act differently than spools. Cones twist when the thread comes off and you'll need a path for it to travel in order to not tangle or break.

The media could not be loaded. This is a very nice embroidery set. If it was just the 40 spools of thread, it would be great. Add in the stabilizer sheets, bobbins, and thread holders and it's pretty much unbeatable. Everything is high quality. Even the thread spools are nicer than what you get at the big box store. The thread works like a charm in my wife's Brother SE630. No problems with breakage or jamming the machine. The colors are vibrant and the range of colors is wide enough to handle all our needs, To quote my bride "this thread is fabulous" Would not hesitate to buy again.
