I haven't ordered any of the stove pipes that haven't had some sort of damage. It is always the package handling and shipping issues. The packaging is always damaged and the pipe is damaged in the same places that the boxes are. It seems to be an Amazon thing. Rough handling of the product. I actually had words with the lady who delivered the package, only to be scolded by her because I had dared to question her job performance. The product is excellent. The Duravent pipe seems to be well made and fits well with other pieces of Duravent components. However, the reason I'm rating it a 3 is that I've just spent a week trying to adjust the 45 deg. elbows to a different angle. I had two and neither would budge when I tried to adjust with with my bare hands. Finally I asked a family member to help but one would not budge and the other would not go as far as I needed. What I ended up doing was oiling the seam with a light oil and then using an 18" strap wrench and a ratchet strap to get enough leverage to turn the two pieces. In the process of doing all this, the elbow was dented, scratched and barely usable. My advice after literally hours of work, experimentation and repainting, is to just use these elbows as stationary 45 degree angles and adjust the length of the straight pipe to make everything fit. ... show more
