We added this beautiful cabinet in our guest bathroom for extra towels and sheets. It is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded my expectations! It is solid wood (except for the very back which is particle board for easy installation), but it seems to be a lightweight wood (not sure what species of tree it came from). It is likely not something that will last generations, but I could see it lasting decades depending on how is used. If you buy this product there is only one thing I would caution, pay attention to the direction you install the bottom. While it was fairly simple to assemble, I did put the bottom on upside down which made it seem like it was manufactured wrong (the center divider was an inch too short and didn't meet the top of the cabinet, it also made it look like there was a gap in the doors). I contacted the company thinking it was a fault on their end, they got back to me quickly and let me know I installed the bottom shelf upside down. After fixing my "user error," everything lined up perfectly! I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone! It is difficult to find well made, reasonably priced items nowadays, so I am incredibly happy to have found this. Sturdy cabinet, very solid, and a nice color. The color is between greenish-gray and brown, not too dark or light. There was some variation in the finish on one of the sides, not a deal breaker for me as that side is against a wall. Very well packed for shipping. Instructions were clear and it was easy to assemble— took a little time but there were a lot of screws, use a power screwdriver with different bits to make it quicker. Got this on sale and it is great for the cost. Glad I purchased! Only took off one star because of the finish on the one side, really only worth half a star as the rest was great ... show more

I regret buying this item. It’s cheaply made and I have had it for a little over a month and it’s already starting to chip on the top and sides. It gets really dusty real quick. Not worth the money. I could of gotten something better and cheaper with ikea. Not enough storage and is extremely small shelves. Don’t waste your money. To big and heavy package to send back. Edit 4 months later. The doors are constantly opening and the paint is starting to peel off the cabinet. It’s painted mahogany not real wood It looks worn out and old. I live alone and a clean and organized person. I ordered two of these cabinets to put on either side of my fireplace. Nowhere in the description did it say that these cabinets needed to be assembled. I assumed they would come in a large box in one piece. I was so wrong. Two small boxes were delivered to my front door which were very heavy. I hesitated to open the boxes because I wasn't sure what I would get once opened and it would be difficult to return them due to their weight. So I finally dragged the boxes in from the garage and began cutting them open. Everything was well packed with paper and cardboard and there were 11 pieces of wood parts neatly stacked in one pile. As I unpacked each one, I noticed that there were scratches, pitting, and rough areas on parts of the wood which made me angry and disappointed. Assembling each cabinet took about one hour each and when we put the doors on the front, the handles would not match so one handle is higher than the other. We tried to adjust the hinges, but we could never get them lined up. Due to this and the imperfections in the wood I only rated them a 3. I ended up keeping them, but am not totally satisfied with this purchase. If you don't care about quality, then they can be OK, but I would not recommend them for anyone looking for a quality side cabinet. ... show more
