Was scared to purchase because of lots of bad reviews but I’m so glad I went with this cheaper option. It was super easy to put together and it’s held up my very heavy monitor with ease. I even have some heavier notebooks in the little pull-out shelf and I’ve had no issues. This is by no means a luxury object so obviously it’s a little flimsy but it does exactly what it’s meant to do and does it well.

I use it to sit my laptop-- fits and works great with the perfect height to avoid neck strain! I have bought 4 and given as gifts - everyone loves them. Very durable; I use mine on a daily basis for several years and it is in perfect condition - stable, does not wobble as others. The side pockets are great for keeping everything organized and off the desk. Highly recommend!

This stand was quite the breeze to put together. slide the leg stands into each end and tighten down a couple small (and they are small, at least for my fingers) set screws. I tightened them down with the screw-driver blade on my little Victorinox Swiss Army Knife. ( another dandy little item no keychain should be without ) It turned out that it was just a bit to high for my monitor because of my bi-focals, but it works very nicely under my laptop and the slide out shelf and small baskets on the end helped clear some of the clutter on my desk and I can see where everything is.. It's very sturdy and stable , nicely finished, ( at least the black one I bought ) and so long as you're not jumping up and down or using it as a stepstool it should last a long time. The only reason I gave less than 5 stars were the screws, they really did require a bit of fumbling about because they're difficult to grasp and the pilot holes, understandably, are small as well and a little rough, just enough so it took a couple tries to get each one set. I'm probably just being overcritical because it wouldn't stop me from buying another one if I needed. Came quickly, was well packaged, and, if you're the type that has troubles with four piece puzzles, it has directions as well.

After seeing our bank advisor with this monitor stand riser on her desk, I thought this would be useful for my use. It is! It provides easy access to writing instruments, post notes, index cards, business cards, and a drawer for any current project to extra printer paper. The riser allows for a perfect position for my laptop's Zoom needs. It's a "good purchase" in my opinion.
