These spice hangers are rather durable. Made it through me shoving spice jars that were too large into their spaces. Other comments are correct as far as these not working for a variety of spice containers. I needed a better solution than digging through all the spice bottles in the cabinet. Read the reviews and hesitated buying because of the issues with the adhesive strips even with cleaning the cabinet surface or wall surface first. So decided after seeing screws were included to go that route installing them and NOT use the adhesive strips at all. A few reviews mentioned hanging the spice bottles vertically instead of horizontally which is what I did. I attached them to the inside of my pantry. I think they look great and the test will be to see how long with repeated use the clips grip the bottles and how much they stretch out. My take and advice. Save yourself the headache and pain of the stips failing and if you can use the screws that are included. Realize that is the point of the strips to just stick and "not damage" cabinet surfaces but I think the combined weight of multiple bottles eventually leads to them failing even if the bottles are 1oz. Maybe some are trying to clip heavier bottles which is speeding up the process I have no idea. ... show more
