Nice sturdy shoe rack. I have a size 6 foot, so it holds lots of my shoes: about 22 pairs with room under the last rack for my slippers. If you Follow the directions it goes together easily: just ho back and retighten all of the screws after it’s assembled. It is a very nice product that makes tidying up your shoes by the front door very easy. It comes with extra bolts and feet in case you lose something, which is exceptionally unusual for manufacturer to do. Thank you for that, Simple Trending! 👌 You WILL likely need a power screwdriver or screwdriver bit attachment for your drill. When assembling you have to do it very rapidly or else you'll lose positioning. You will understand what I mean immediately when trying to put it together. It took about 4 or 5 minutes to put together after getting it out of the box. Handy tips: ✓ Put the canvas shelving material BEFORE you try to attach the shelves; ✓ Position the canvas so that it is not grabbed by the edges when you tighten the bolts; ✓ Position the "dents" on the frame assembly so that the bolts go into on the OUTSIDE of the frame assembly so that the bolts don't stick out so much; ✓ Be careful not to over tighten upon initial assembly, tighten after full assembly so that canvas shelves remain level; ✓ Make sure to save the additional parts that were sent (i.e. extra feet and bolts) by just putting them all into the one little bag and staple them to the underside of the bottom shelf so that you will have them handy if you need them in the future. Overall it seems like a sturdy little unit that allowed adequate space for me to organize my commonly worn shoes. It is my opinion that is a great little organizer and I am happy with my purchase. BTW, it DOES appear that it is expandable if, for whatever reason, you want to order another one to add on more levels. ... show more

I don't often write reviews but this was a good buy. I was tired of shoe avalanches when pulling some out from a stack; I wanted something high-capacity, durable, ergonomic, and adjustable. After searching around I did not want something heavy like a full-wood shelf, or flimsy like the stretcher-style PVC plastic frames with fabric shelves because the heel would probably get stuck on the horizontal rod when sliding out a pair of shoes, making the experience less ergonomic by requiring me to lift them up (and as pictured this rack is atop my closet shelves, up high, so that would be annoying to lift higher to remove). This rack strikes a great balance of being lightweight and sturdy, though it would not work for high heels due to the grate-style shelves where a narrow heel would get stuck. You can leave out shelves and span between the sets to make room for ankle boots, and even fit some flats under the bottom shelf when mounted one notch up from the lowest as pictured. I thought the shelves may be too tall and waste space, but it's nice to have room to fit hands below shelves above shoes to pull out those shoes comfortably. Rubber feet help it stay in place and avoid marking. As pictured, my men's size 11 shoes fit comfortably with 3 pairs per shelf with one pair below the bottom shelf making for 16 pairs of storage capacity per 4-shelf unit - couldn't get much more dense without sacrificing ergonomic accessibility. ... show more

If you’re just looking for a shoe rack & don’t want to spend a lot, this will be perfect for you. I am trying to organize & decorate our new lake house & this looks kind of cheap & pretty small. I am just going to put it in one of our guest room closets & order a nicer one for the walk in closet.
