We bought four of these in different colors for a family vacation and would do so again in a heartbeat! We initially had a hard time deciding between the 24oz and 32oz, but ultimately decided on the 32oz and were glad we did. SIZE: The 32oz bottles won't fit in a car cup holder, and were larger/bulkier to carry around, both factors that we felt were downsides when deciding. However, they still fit in the pockets of a backpack and we were glad for the extra capacity when we were in locations where it wasn't as easy to find water sources to fill them. They were a little too big to wash in the hotel bathroom sink, so we were glad to be allowed to wash them in the kitchen of the hotel we were staying in at that time. LIDS: We have only used the chug lids so far so I can't review the straw lids, but the chug lids are nice. The handle makes them easy to carry or clip onto something with a carabiner. DURABILITY: We used these every day, all day for two weeks straight on vacation. (We washed once after the first week.) We took them with us on LOOONG walks in multiple cities, on planes, trains, subways, and public buses. All but mine came home with some extra "character" -- dents and dings from the trip. Mine was the only one that came with the silicone "boot" and it did seem to make a difference in preventing dents/scratches. When I take the boot off to wash it, it's obvious that there has been some mild fading of the bottle (we were in the sun a LOT), but the overall color is still vibrant. TEMPERATURE: We were all super impressed how long the bottles could keep water cold. At one point after our trip, I filled the bottle with ice water and it was still cold over 15 hours later. We're all still using our bottles at least weekly. 10/10 would buy again, and might even buy other sizes.

Simple Modern has been mentioned numerous times for being a great reliable and more cost effective alternative to bottles like Stanley’s and Hydro Flasks. People online on forums such as Reddit have been recommending the bottles from the brand for years now and I stand right by them. The bottle has good thickness and insulation to keep the interior cool and protected from outside heat. Left the bottle in my car during a trip and even after hours of baking in the sun the ice still wasn’t melted. Some people have mentioned leaking or an Improper seal when the bottle is supposed to be closed but for me the bottle hasn’t leaked at all even after being shaken around in my bag through the day. Good build quality and a decent color selection. Textured exterior as well. If you need a well insulated, vacuum sealed and slick bottle you can’t really go wrong with these.

I’m super happy with this purchase. I feel like I saved some money, but I still got the quality. It keeps my coffee, hot and my water cold. I filled it with ice and water and forgot about it, checked it the following day and the ice hadn’t melted. I've bought so many of these bottles. No matter which other bottles I try, I come back to Simple Modern. Water stays cold longer, the colors are prettier, and the price is better (though they've still become more expensive). I like the fact that my water never has an off taste from these bottles, and I like that they don't leak. They last forever, so very durable, and having your choice of lid is nice. I can use the straw lid when I'm driving, but I can use the other lid to turn the bottle up and drink when I'm at home. Dependable, simple, and attractive. Good traits for a water bottle to have.

I have been purchasing Simple Modern for years. They're a wonderful company, with excellent customer service and great products in various styles. I purchased this water bottle for my daughter for soccer, because of the large size, cute print, and dark color. Upon receiving, I realized how similar it is to a 32oz Ozark Trail water bottle I got from WM, for far less, however, that one doesn't come in cute prints, nor does it come with a second lid. It does have a rubberized bottom though, something I assumed this would have, so I'm a little disappointed in that aspect, but the water bottle is very nice; it keeps her water ice cold, it doesn't leak, and I know that with Simple Modern, I can have peace of mind with free replacement parts if something breaks.

I spend a lot of time poolside in the hot summer and have always been disappointed in most brands of insulated water bottles. None of them will keep ice cold when sitting out in the sun for 2-3 hours. First of all, they get hot to the touch on the outside which can't help but heat up the interior beverage. It doesn't take much to melt ice in a drink. I am very skeptical about all these water bottle claims of being dual walled with a vacuum between them. Just placing my index finger into the interior of many brands (I have tried over the years) and using my thumb to try to gauge the thickness of these so-called dual walls, makes it hard to believe that there is any insulation since they seem so thin. They feel more like a single layer. At any rate, I decided over the course of this summer to keep ordering 32oz to 40oz bottles in the most well known and highly rated brands. I would give each one an afternoon in the sun at my pool to see how well they maintained ice in my beverages (both alcoholic and not). Everyone of the six brands I tried, I returned for a refund. Disappointed at having to rely on Amazon reviewers "subjective" opinions, I started searching for reviews done by professional sources and finally ran across what I was looking for. Serious Eats did reviews by using the exact same amount of liquid and same amount of ice in the same size containers of 10 well known and common brands. They measured the temperature of the liquid in each at various intervals (see attached chart of results) of 2 hrs, 6 hrs, and 16 hrs. Simple Modern clearly won by a significant margin. I can't believe that so many consumers pay exorbitant prices for Yeti, thinking they are getting a superior product and performance. Yeti was the worst performer of the bunch....Junk. The closest performer to Simple Modern was Stanley's, in the short term, but no one came close to Simple Modern at the 16 hour mark. SM's construction is vacuum sealed dual wall and they boast of coating the outside of the interior wall with Copper for whatever reason But it obviously works as evidenced by the review testing and attached results chart. So I ordered the "white" 40oz in Cream Leopard (I wanted one that reflects the sun's heat, not absorbs it). I have now been using it for 2 weeks in 90-100 degree days, poolside. This thing is an absolute beast at protecting the contents. Of course some of the ice put into it is initially melted when lowering the temperature of the liquid inside, but after a couple hours of sipping in the hot sun, the exterior is just a bit warm (not hot to the touch like all of the other brands). And by the time I sip all of the liquid out, there is still a half of a container of unmelted ice. I am beyond impressed and extremely happy to have found my desired solution. I also hit the gym for 2 hours, three times a week and carry iced water with fresh lime squeezed into it with Stevia added for sweetener, and full of ice. This stays frigid cold and by the time I finish drinking what was inside, there is still a ton of ice in the bottle. Bottom line...ignore all of the 5 Star reviews on the Chinese brands and other competitors (although Simple Modern is also made in China). Just purchase this stellar performer and never look back. And compared to the outrageous price of Yeti, this one is a real bargain. Well worth every penny spent.

Simple Modern for the win! Leopard girlies will go bonkers for this shiny black on matte black leopard water bottle—it's practically perfect in every way! The chug lid's completely leak-resistant, so it's great when you're on the go. That said, the straw lid's tricky as it spouts water out when you lift it up to drink. Not every single sip, but enough to make me stick with using the chug lid. Both have handles which make it easy to take to on walks, yoga, dance class or anywhere you might get thirsty. But the magic doesn't end with its good looks. This beauty is durable and made from high-quality stainless steel (bottle itself) and BPA-free plastic (tops). The size is great and so, so nice I bought it twice—in both the 18-and 32-ounce size. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
