Keeps liquid hot for a long time, by tea was still too hot to drink immediately after 4 hours. It doesn't leak even kept laid on its side. It's nice to drink out of without a hint of the tinny-ness you can get with a regular stainless steel thermos. And it looks good! I have found it impossible to push the drink top open on a couple of occasions and have had to unscrew the whole top to relieve pressure before I could put it back on and push the top down. This mug is outstanding! I decided to pivot from my HydroFlask stainless steel tumbler because I could no longer tolerate the metallic taste. I debated between this mug and the Fellow Tumbler, but ultimately opted for this one because it’s a true “commuter’s mug.” I love the 360 sip design. I find it fits perfectly in my cup holder and it stays warm all day. Most importantly, it tastes like coffee should. I also really like the silicone ring on the base so it doesn’t “clunk” when I put it down. My only small issue is that you have to push really hard on the top to release the vacuum seal the first time you drink after filling it with hot liquids. Buy this cup. It’s fantastic! It’s the perfect size to be comfortable without a handle and fit neatly into small cup holders in the car. The 16 oz one is a little smaller than my other coffee mugs, but is absolutely worth refilling for the other perks. The seal works well and prevents me from spilling all over the place; if there is still coffee inside the lid itself it will drip out when on its side, but the coffee in the mug doesn’t leak. The 360 lid works just as stated and is great to drink out of from every angle. So far the cup keeps my coffee nice and hot for a long time, which is great for when I put it down someplace and forget where it went for an hour! It’s a little pricy, but worth the money. I’ll buy more when they go on sale to replace our other travel mugs. The ceramic lining is a great plus as is the dishwasher safe feature. To top everything off it’s very cute! I am in law school and have tried all of the infamous cup brands - Stanley cups, Hydroflasks, you name it. SimplyModern is my all-time favorite, and I have multiple types, from protein shake dispensers to water bottles and coffee cups. The quality is excellent. They do not scratch, even when they roll around in the floorboards of my car for a few days. The grip is good. They come in a wide array of sizes and always fit perfectly in my cupholders or shoulder bag. The Almond Birch color is sleek, minimalist, and fits the aesthetic of my other school/work supplies. I have almost a full set of Almond Birch ones, and now my husband is collecting is own set in Coastal Fog. My drink stays warm just as long as any of the more expensive brands, and the full ring spout is genius! I’ve used this 5 days a week for months now and I love it! It fits in my car cup holder, keeps my coffee hot for almost 2 hours and warm enough to drink for way longer. The mechanism on the lid is brilliant and it has not leaked once, even when the cup has been rolling around in my bag. The cup itself is machine washable, I usually hand wash the lid but have run it in a dishwasher a couple of times too. So far it is holding up great. Would buy again. ... show more

    • Everything…but the lid!

The color of this item is even better in person. It’s a durable product, doing exactly what it claims as far as keeping your coffee hot and being spill proof. The seal and the lid design prevents spills. My only issues with the item is the lid itself. For one, it’s very difficult to clean and sits much lower than the average travel mug lids, so you have to be careful not to fill it too high. I did find a loophole to this, though. If you feel you might have too much liquid in the container, make sure you press the lid in (as if you’d want to drink from it) so any excess liquid that would leak out just goes up to the lid. A second, and bigger, issue I have with the lid is it developed a smell after using for about a month. I soaked it in hot dish soapy water, it reduced the smell but not entirely. I tried a diluted white vinegar soak, still to no avail. I used a straw brush to thoroughly clean every nook and cranny of the lid but the smell just wouldn’t go away. I haven’t used it in a while and just went back to my old travel mug that’s lid is on its last leg with cracks. ... show more

    • Great design, coffee doesn't react to the ceramic lining

I'm just going to start off with, I'm one of those people who can taste when coffee reacts to metal on a extreme level. I don't use metal spoons in my coffee won't drink them in metal containers. Overall this is a fantastic design in it simplicity. No spill is a huge win. The fact that it ceramic lined is 100% the reason I tried this travel mug and it did not disappoint. I do wish it stayed hotter longer but I can work with how hot it stayed. I love the pink ginger gram design it fun and cute all.at the same time. I will definitely be buying more as I just purged my cabinet of all my old spill ceramic travel mugs that are scrappy designs. ... show more
