I bought this cup for my 3 year old and she uses it regularly. It is easily cleaned either by hand or in the dishwasher however I ensure I take the peices apart to make sure they all get clean. My 3 year old can easily open and close the spout on her own making my life easier. I only use room temperature or cold liquids as that is what she drinks so I dont know how it would hold up with hot drinks. It has been dropped and is very durable. Bought this for my son, i really like it ! I just wish it had a spill proof , cu my son will turn it around with the sip up an it will spill everywhere . Obviously if you close it, it doesnt have the issue .
