These Simms Freestone stockingfoot waders look sharp and feel even better. The material has a nice hand to it, the cut isn’t bulky, and the suspenders/belt adjust easily without digging in. On the water, they performed exactly as promised: water beads right off, seams stayed tight, and after several hours wading and kneeling on damp banks, I came out completely dry. They’re comfortable to hike in, the gravel guards fit snugly over boots, and the chest pocket is handy for small essentials. Pros: clean look and solid build; comfortable fit with good range of motion; waterproof performance matches the listing. Cons: none so far—if anything, I’d love one more interior pocket. Bottom line: If you want waders that both look good and work hard, these deliver. Waterproof as advertised and very comfortable on long days. ... show more

These waders were excellent the first year of use. They were used approximately 6 times for 5 days each time, cleaned and hung to dry. The second year they were used the same way; however, the last time used there was a minor leak near the left knee at a seam. The third year, they leaked like a screen door in a submarine. Not just in the seam, but through the material. Simms will attempt to fix them for a respectable fee of $65; however, the expense of shipping them to Simms and waiting 2-3 months for return made it illogical to do. ... show more

Love my new waders! If you want to stay dry, they say SIMMS are the ones. Not the cheapest on the market, but they look sharp and are made with high quality. Looking forward to having many adventures in these fishing waders.
