Description

Set up in the classic eastern whitetail hunting configuration, the Simmons 3-9x40 8 Point Riflescope is a versatile optic for deer and predator hunting and target shooting. The 3-9x magnification range can handle the various distances at which you encounter game, and the 40mm objective lens admits lots of light for a bright image, even early or late in the day. The simple Truplex reticle presents a clean sight picture that doesn't obscure the target. Lenses are anti-reflection multicoated for optimal light transmission and a sharp, clear image, and the 1" maintube is water, shock, and fogproof. The exit pupil diameter is 13.3-4.4mm, and eye relief is a comfortable 3.5". Included are Weaver mounting rings, so the scope is ready to use right out of the box.

For the price I paid the scope is fine for my S&W Model M&P 22. However, the supplied weaver mounts held the scope too low for my full length rail. The front optic jammed up tight against the rail. I used a spare set of mounts I had instead. This is why I dinged it a star.

Sweet scope for the money! Installed on a Winchester wildcat 22lr I’m not great at zeroing I’m scopes but this made it easy. Clear glass and we’ll made too!!

First scope ever purchased. Took a while to get the correct rifle mount but afterward all went smoothly. Good instructions included. Got it zeroed in on 100 yards. Nice! Easy to site the target.

Scope is great but no mounts supplied twice. Sent back the first time and Amazon reorder ed and still no scope mounts the second time. I'll buy them somewhere else, I would not use this seller again.
