  • great value and works great
Style: MIG Welder 140
while I haven't mig welded with it yet, it works great for stick / arc welding. I needed a welder for some fabrication while converting a couple of old electric golf carts to gas. I've only used it on 110v power and it didn't blow the circuit breaker. its very small and light. the quality looks good

  • Short cable.

I like the product. It's small and simple. Better than the previous one in size. Will write a more detailed description of use in future, after a good run

  • Mig 140s. It works but some limits
Style: MIG Welder 140
I've only used this as a MIG welder so far. The manual that comes with it is worthless. In fact, it's not even for this machine. You get a 1 lb spool of wire whereas earlier versions came with 2 lb. No big deal. It works really well on 110 v and I'm happy with it as far as that goes. I haven't tried it on 220 yet. I haven't sticked welded with it yet. Unfortunately, in order to do stick welding once you're set up for mig, you have to lose about five or six feet of wire in order to plug the stinger in. Also, the manual doesn't tell you how to set it up for stick welding. In fact, the manual being for another model is wrong. There's an earlier version that has some YouTube videos that have different connectors for the Mig connection. This version requires you to disconnect the entire mig gun and plug into where the wire comes out. I guess it's not a big deal, but it is something to note. The power cord is very short maybe about four feet or so and the leads on the welders or maybe 5-6 ft. So you got to be close to the machine when you're welding. It's light enough that you can put the machine anywhere, so length isn't much of a deal breaker. It's flux core only, but the supplied mig gun is for gas. Not a big deal, but it technically has the wrong tip for a flux core welding. The door on my welder doesn't latch fully. There is no instructions inside the door as shown on the pictures in the listing. There are no suggested speeds or settings for different thicknesses of metal. There's really no explanation as to what the voltage knob does and there's no display reaction when you turn that knob. I got mine delivered for $86, so it's worth it, but it's pretty bare bones. There are no extras such as a cheap mask or a hammer or anything like that. You do get one extra tip and one extra gas nozzle. Overall I like it and I think it welds well so far. It just has a couple of negatives. ... show more

  • One of the best multifunction welders for the low price
Style: MIG Welder 140
I like that it has the mig function. works well with mig and stick. Great value for the $85 i spent. customer service was great when i had a small issue. If i were to recommend anything to the manufacturer, it would be good to have a separate port for stick welding and not have to disassemble mig every time I switch. Also there is no quick and easy way to turn off machine when the rod sticks and i have trouble removing the clamp, also when restarted using the switch the electrodes remain hot and do not reset to zero amps this could be dangerous. like i said Its a great machine for the money especially when you learn how it works ... show more

  • Excellent fir the price
Style: MIG Welder 140
This little welder has exceeded my expectations. It can blow holes in sheet metal every bit as well as welders that are 10x as expensive. But in all seriousness, this welder is perfect as a portable unit to do repairs where it wouldn’t make sense for me to bring a larger unit, or am just feeling lazy. ... show more

  • Great little multiprocess welder for beginners.
Style: MIG250
Pretty nice welder, this is my very first time welding. Been doing a lot of reading and finally decided to get this multiprocess welder because of the all inclusiveness. You do have to buy the TIG gun separate as well as an argon tank if you want to do TIG or regular MIG. The instruction book is pretty basic. The voltage knob is a little tricky because there’s no values just a 1-10 but 1 is 10volts and 10 is 220volts in 240v mode. I tried the flux core MIG and didn’t do too bad, the amp knob is basically your speed and the voltage knob controls your arc. Arc mode so far is my favorite. I’ve tried 6013 which I really like and 7018 which is different but I’m getting the hang of it. For Arc mode start with the suggested amps for the electrode thickness in the manual and the volt knob around 6. Like I said for a first timer I didn’t do too bad and I really like this welder. I did purchase an argon tank and the TIG gun but haven’t tried regular MIG or TIG. I will update when I try them out and on the longevity of the unit. Also the ground clamp is pretty flimsy and the cables for the clamp and electrode holder are short. I upgrade my clamp and made a nice heavy duty cable longer. I’ll probably get a different electrode holder too, it’s not bad just the electrodes feel loose if they aren’t close to the pivot hinge. All in all worth the money so far. ... show more

Without a doubt - the best bang for your buck. Small, powerful, efficient and it gets the job done. I managed to weld my wheel that broke off of my $800 grill. It worked flawlessly! 11/10 please do not hesitate to get this! I managed to get it for an amazing $51 after tax and shipping.
