  • Good product and price
Did the job, threaded wire and went to welding, no practice. Did pretty good and weld is strong (put it to the hammer test:) I had wire speed on slow...you must have to be really good to have it on fast. Recommend

  • Suprisingly Works really good
i’ve had this welder for about 2 years now and it still welds strong, i wouldn’t use it for any big jobs but for the price it’s definitely a great around the house welder, i done plenty with it from building mini bikes to welding sheet metal together, although i would put your money into good flux welding wire because i notice the cheaper stuff does not lay anywhere near as good as the for say lincoln stuff, overall i would very much so recommend to others ... show more

  • Welder
Understanding that the value for the money is high, this welder lacks some features that would make it much more user friendly to new welders. There is only two selectors for the heat/amp setting for welding, a high/low setting. Either an setting with more adjustment or a chart showing the thickness metal each of the two settings would be good for. I think if the welder came with more literature explaining what speed setting would work well with each of the heat settings would be helpful. Otherwise, it works as advertised. Simple quick set up. ... show more

  • Fun little welder
I bought this to learn on. I have not used it a lot yet. It sure looks cool in the shop though! The welder came in great condition and fed a new roll of wire easily. I had ordered one of the even cheaper no name welders first and it arrived completely destroyed. I figured I would upgrade to at least a name brand welder to avoid anymore hassle. The accessories it came with are pretty basic but would get you by. I would order this again! ... show more

  • Works great
I have been welding for 20yrs and this thing works great. Whats funny to me is reading the negative reviews on these smaller flux only welders and people calling them junk bc they can't weld to start with and blaming the machine for them not knowing what their doing. Let me tell you it doesn't matter if its a cheap flux or a miller or Lincoln using gas (mig),if you can't weld its not the machines fault it's yours. I have used several of these small cheaper welders and they will lay good solid beads if you know how to use them. This welder is very handy to have and runs 110 so can take it anywhere. I do recommend changing the ground clamp to a better quality one and I also extended the ground cord as I found it was a tad to short for my liking. And take the gas nozzle off and replace with a flux nozzle to see your puddle better especially if your a beginner. And the most important thing is get a good helmet, not a cheap pos that will flicker constantly and give you arc eye. ... show more

  • fun for post apocalyptic stuff and things around the garage!
im not the best or worst welder. but this thing is super easy too use. although you should buy more gasless wire, because you will burn through it before you know it! read the other reviews for safety's sake. with risk comes reward! but electrocution isnt good so use your noggin, learn the basics of welding and safety with live wire. remember C.L.A.M.S. it helps with the hard splatter. go getter tiger. ... show more

  • I would avoid.
I bought this 12/2020 and didn’t get around to using it until March and boy do I wish I hadn’t waited. It looks super cool with its yellow paint job but that’s about where it stops being cool. I can’t to save my life adjust the settings, nothing seems to change actually power, you can change the speed but it’s still really hot. ***THE TRIGGER ONLY CONTROLS WIRE COMING OUT NOT POWER TO WIRE SO WIRE IS ALWAYS 100% POWERED*** I was hoping for a better product but it is what it is, I’ll be replacing it. ... show more
