Love these candles that flicker without a live flame! No more worrying about melted wax on the tablecloth. Not only practical, but very beautiful.

    • Pretty and functional
I ordered the rose pattern and am very happy with how pretty they are, especially while glowing. However, I don't believe this to be real glass, simply a hard plastic. The top part of the candle appears to be a layer of real wax as stated. The flicker is not the most realistic. The little remote is not operational upon arrival so I cannot rate the functionality of the remote. Hopefully it is just a faulty battery and once replaced I can try the dimming effect and timer function. The candles are easily activated manually on the bottom of each candle so it's not a problem. Overall they meet my expectations for providing a cozy glow in a darkened area of my living room and they are just as pretty as presented in the picture. I originally got the rose ones and used it in my home office to set the calm and beautiful environment and loved them so much for the facts that they have the candle-like effect and time w the remote timer as well, I ordered the lemon ones and have places around the kitchen/dining areas as well.
