This play pen is a godsend, it truly is! My grand daughter is at the stage where she wants to get into everything and my home is no longer baby proofed, so this is perfect. She is an early walker too, so that made something like this all the more necessary. It contains her toys and her at the same time, saves me from constantly getting up and down when I watch her. I can climb in with her and sit down in the pen to play with her too, it is such a wonderful invention! I wish I had this when my children were younger. Know that you have to purchase the inner mat separately, my daughter didnt realize this when she purchased the pen, but the mat that goes on the inside is perfect too! The overall idea is great but there’s a few things worth noting before buying. This isn’t easy to put together - the fabric part limits the movements when putting the pipes together. The travel case seems silly because it would take A LOT of effort to take this apart and bag it up. It is NOT sturdy enough to hold an adults weight. The frame bent from just putting this together - I’m a 125lb female. There’s no padding on the bottom, so you will need to buy the mat or use a thick blanket There’s also no built in storage pockets. I purchased this angelbliss 71x59 play yard in the light gray color (because the dark went out of stock) & am using the Skip Hop puzzle foam play mat 56x70 for the inside because it’s the only playmat on amazon that will fit perfectly. I did research for months on what mat would fit, I even researched tiktok to see what mats parents used. So if you’re looking for a mat that will be a perfect fit, definitely go with the skiphop one. there’s only a 0.5’’ gap between the play yard walls & the edge of the mat. Onto the play yard PROS: It’s VERY well made! It’s as sturdy as a play yard can be, but I don’t suggest leaning/sitting on the walls or letting older kids use it as a gymnasium, it’s not THAT sturdy. But it’s sturdy enough for a baby/toddler to stand up & hold onto. The material is VERY nice quality & the mesh is great! I was worried about it ripping easily, but my baby smashes her face up against it daily & it bounces right back, doesn’t stay stretched out. It’s the PERFECT size for my schmedium sized living room, not crazy big & still gives baby A LOT of room to wreak havoc. 2 nice zippered exit doors. Only took me 1.5hrs to set up but that’s because i’m slow. It could be done in 20-30 mins if you’re not easily distracted. CONS: the light gray stains EASY, and shows everything, but it was my only option. It’s not a “travel” play yard so idk why it comes with a travel bag, more like a storage bag. I can’t imagine casually setting this up for temporary use. & lastly, it’s a bit overpriced. I got this on sale for black friday so it’s definitely worth the $70 i paid, but i would not pay full price. All in all, it is VERY convenient to have for a safe play space for baby. I can finally shower with a peace of mind that my baby isn’t setting the house on fire or rummaging through my household cleaners. This thing is so strong/sturdy, my 7 and 5 year old boys hang and swing on it like monkeys and it has held up perfectly. Super impressed with that. The two zipper doors make it convenient when baby girl is free to roam so she can access her toys. Plenty of room for her brothers to play in it with her or to have multiple babies in it when mom friends come over. Only issue I’ve had is getting a couple holes in the netting, but that was from my older children poking it with their jagged toys 🙄. Luckily the hole does NOT get bigger easily, it takes some force. This went together relatively well! It is very sturdy and I am very happy with it. If you are putting it on a hardwood floor, I would suggest putting a thin cushion under it, like an old blanket. Does not come with a padded bottom.

It was hard to assemble but that’s partly bc the directions had all 3 sizes in the same booklet and we got confused. My baby loves it, however! We keep all his toys in it and he can pull himself up to say hello to us. We leave the door unzipped and he knows he can come and go, but when I need a break, I can just zip it up and take a few minutes. I love this playpen! With the design of my house and my cat, it's hard to babyproof without locking my cat out of necessary places for her(fat kitty can't jump). It's perfectly fit where I need it so that my daughter can have the room to crawl around and play with her toys but also not have to keep redirecting her away from stairs and places she can't be. It's a wonderful safe place for her with the side zipper doors that I can open when I want her to have free range. Very sturdy and fairly easy to put together. It's metal pipes with joints. My husband and I got it together within 5 minutes but I could have done it myself easily as well. The top even has some with zippers to finish so youre not struggling trying to put the pipes in while they are all attached to the fabric and each other. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. It's so relieving to have a safe space for my daughter that I dont have to worry about her or tell her no with. ... show more
