Features
- COMFORT ZONE FOR PRESSURE RELIEF The COMFORT ZONE cutout is an open area on the underside in the base of the saddle shell towards the nose that provides pressure relief for soft tissue by allowing the saddle padding to slightly push through the plane of the saddle base for extra comfort so you can ride longer and more comfortably.
- THE LOVE CHANNEL - This saddle padding relief down the middle on the top center of WTB saddles from the rear of the saddle to approximately 50 mm (2) from the tip of the saddle nose that provides soft tissue relief and prevents unwanted pressure that would otherwise cause numbness.
- SOFT TISSUE RELIEF- This approximate 6mm dip in the area of both male and female soft tissue provides additional soft tissue relief and prevents unwanted pressure that may otherwise cause numbness.
- SLIM AND LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN: Featuring lightweight rails, this saddle is built for long rides, offering a sleek, ergonomic design that minimizes bulk without sacrificing comfort or durability on all terrains.
- OPTIMIZED FOR FORWARD PEDALING EFFICIENCY: The Silverado saddle's long, flat nose and raised tail are engineered for forward-leaning pedaling, giving you more support and power on technical climbs, sprints, and long-distance cycling.

If you are looking for a flat saddle with comfort in all positions (aero, climbing, seated) you simply cannot beat the Silverado. I’ve had the fancy shape shifting saddle, a 3-D printed saddle and the short nose types, they worked for me for a few months but I was never really comfortable. The Silverado is neutral and flat so all you have to do is dial in tilt and forward/aft position. When climbing the rear part of the saddle has good padding and when you are tucked down in aero position the nose is supportive. Weight is irrelevant if you are reading this, weight is irrelevant for 99.9% of all cyclist needing a new saddle 100g difference in saddle weight means nothing so don’t focus on that and get trapped buying expensive lightweight saddles, like I did before buying this Silverado.

I hunted around a lot. Tried many different seats. Used this seat for 8hr gravel bike race. It was great. Paired with Eliel bibs and European style chamois butter I was pretty comfortable the entire way. Seat recommendation from Yuri. Can’t just try the seat on a stationary bike. They all suck there. This seat is great. Titanium rails don’t break like carbon ones. Light. Flexi. Comfy. I’m 5’10” 185 lbs. bike is an open UP. Running Nanos 40cc at 35psi

I needed to replace my stock saddle and checked a lot of different options. Before getting this one I bought a competitors saddle (which was much more $ btw) and it just wasn’t for me. I was going to get the volt but since it has the “duck tail” end near the back I knew I wouldn’t like it. Enter the Silverado saddle, which is perfect!! It’s more flat yet still sort of long so it allows for a lot of movement and seating options. It also has the comfort zone up front for “the boys” which is great. But it also has two more comfort zones underneath the two main “butt pads” which aren’t very visible in the pictures here. After my first ride I knew I had to post a review. I’ll be buying the chrome moly version soon so I will have it for if the steel one I bought ever wears out.

Less is more with this Saddle. Its on the light side of padding, but is plenty adequate. If you hind end is already used to saddles you should like this a bunch. If you are new to ridding and/or like a think amount of padding look elsewhere. I find the saddle very comfy for long rides in the mountains and shorter local rides. As far as durability time will tell, but this replaced a prior model that was five years old that I broke the rail on. I don't blame the seat for the broken rail as I had used, abused and crashed the bike multiple times. I have broke other seats and seat posts in my almost 30 years of mountain biking. Also had jumped many times and come down hard on it. To sum it up its a great value saddle that looks good, is comfy, and should last a long time.

Very comfortable for about the first hour and a half and towards the end of a three hour ride I couldn’t wait to get off. This saddle has considerably more padding than any I’ve owned which I thought might help for longer rides but that’s certainly not the case. If I had to guess it’d be the saddle is a little to flat and doesn’t offer enough relief cutout in the middle. I’m going to try the Fizik Argo R5 and see if that’s the holy grail.

Replaced my saddle that came with Dahon Mariner G8. It supports my butt a lot better. I had the same seat on my mountain bike that comes with it, and really like it because it is not only comfortable, it do not rub against my thighs while I paddle. So I buy another one. Highly recommended for daily riding. Maybe a bit heavy for road bike racing.

This is my second WTB Silverado saddle. Most saddles slope off too much, too fast, making them pretty uncomfortable and making them chafe more. This one supports the sitz-bones better. It isn't any wider than any other performance saddles, but it is flatter and doesn't slope as much as many of them do. For those of us who aren't in prime riding shape, but who also don't want a big clunky saddle, these are great.

This is my second Silverado saddle (different bikes). I have also had the Volt from WTB. The Silverado is the best saddle I have ridden; better even then the stock Trek saddles on Fuel EX 9.8 and Rumblefish. I purchased the model with minimal thickness. Thickness is not something I want in a saddle.
