I bought this oversized bike seat because the factory saddle on my bike felt like it was designed by someone who hates humans. After one ride, I was walking around like I’d lost a bar fight. Enter this seat — the CDYWD cloud‑cushion miracle. Installation took maybe five minutes, and most of that was me trying to remember where I put my Allen wrench. Once it was on, the difference was immediate. It’s wide, cushy, and actually supports your weight instead of concentrating it into one regrettable pressure point. I’m not saying it turned me into a Tour de France athlete, but I can now ride more than a mile without questioning my life choices. The springs help smooth out bumps, and the padding is thick enough that you don’t feel every pebble on the road. If your current bike seat feels like sitting on a brick wrapped in disappointment, this upgrade is worth every penny. For the last three years I have been training 3 days a week on the Schwinn Airdyne AD7. The stock seat is okay, but after about 45 minutes, I experience butt fatigue, especially in the notorious perineum area. The pain gets really bad after about 55 minutes, so I thought I’d try a noseless extra-wide seat, but that made matters worse. The back of my upper thighs hurt after 40 minutes, so I returned the seat and replaced it with a CDYWD Oversized bike seat. I used a socket kit rather than the generic wrench provided with the seat to ensure everything was locked down tightly. I didn’t want any swivel. This seat proved to be the improvement I needed. I was able to get a “monster workout” of 62 minutes and 830 calories burned with no pain in my butt or perineum area.

At 72, the stock seats on our new Portola e-bikes weren’t really usable. Ride1up offered a “comfort package” with better seat and suspension post-sold out! That gave me my first clue that we would be replacing the stock seat🤔. After reading many reviews we ordered one each of the “Cruiser” and “Sunlite” Cloud 9 seats. They were big improvements, but were too small still and not as comfortable as we hoped (for senior riders). Next, we ordered 2 Suntour NCX suspension posts. These improved our ride, but were not able to compensate for the seats not being wide enough. Next, I tried a Himiway extra wide seat. Seat was flat (which I liked), but even though they shortened the nose, the nose was too wide-which hindered peddling. My next order was one of these CDYWD seats. My wife and I both tried it out and decided to order a second one. The best seat so far for our “older bottoms.” They are definitely 4 star seats for their comfort. We like the width and cushions. These should definitely improve our riding experience and length of time we can go. As my review title says, they are “almost great!” There are a couple of areas where they could make these saddles even better: 1. The nose is narrow so that peddling is easy. However, the padding n the nose sticks up higher than the rest of the seat-why??? As a male rider, that is definitely not ideal! I tried to adjust the nose somewhat downward, but that made me feel like I was sliding off the seat. I did manage to finally achieve a position that was somewhat comfortable with this nose, but it should have never been designed to be higher than the rest of the seat. 2. The buttocks area of the seat actually is sunken a little lower than the rest of the seat. This helps to feel like you are seated correctly and securely without sliding around unnecessarily. The downside is that this exaggerates the nose already being designed a little too high. 3. There is a raised lip around the back of the seat that gives a little extra support for the (somewhat) scooped seat. This is a positive design feature, overall, but I find myself sliding backwards after a while, and sitting on the raised edge to move farther away from the raised nose. The raised lip is soft and not really uncomfortable if you feel the need to actually sit on it. “Bottom line” (pun intended)….I had no problem returning the other seats that were not suitable for us (Cloud 9 seats are probably great for under “senior ages”), but we are keeping these. We purchased the two with 30 percent off coupons, which made them not so expensive that we couldn’t “upgrade” later if we find something even better. They are such an improvement that we (I) can live with the nose for quite some time. I’m hoping CDYWD actually reads this review and decides to redesign this seat again with a lower nose. If they do, we will probably upgrade to the newer style, but for now, these are worth keeping!

This seat is a good replacement for the skinnier seat that comes standard with the exercise bike. It is much more comfortable than the original seat. The seat makes riding the bike a more pleasant experience.

If you need that wide seat? This is definitely a perfect fit! Got rid of my narrow seat on my stationary bicycle after my privates kept going numb. This seat i rode with for 45min and NO numbness! I have been using it for over a month and will likely buy another for my outdoor bike. Woohoo!
