I have used the Grean mountain bike seat for a couple of months and several hundred miles and I find that after minor adjustments and getting accustomed to the wider cushiony seat I find it is an excellent and comfortable seat that is well worth the price. I had to remove the rail bracket from the Grean seat and replace it with the original rail bracket from my Specialized mountain bike and it fit perfectly. I find that the Grean wide soft tail seat is much more comfortable than my original narrow hard tail seat. The cushion in the Grean seat also makes riding over rough roads a lot easier. The quality and comfort are just as good as the seats sold at the local bicycle shop for 75% less. In the days where kick stands are optional, saving money where you can makes sense. I did have to use the seat mount that came on the original seat instead of the included one.

    • Swapped out my Peloton Seat
So I purchased a Peloton and the seat that came with it was far from comfortable. It hurt my butt so bad I wouldn't even use it. (Not good when you spend that much on it.) So I went searching for the perfect seat for my new toy. I did a bunch of research and finally settled on this seat. I was not disappointed in my purchase. My husband was at work when it came so I installed the new seat myself. (super easy) Once I had my new seat installed I went for a ride through Australia. (On the Peloton) I was able to finish my 30 min ride without wanting to cry from a sore butt. So if your looking for relief this seat is a great choice for comfort and it is not to big where it interferes with peddling. ... show more

A decent seat but not much cushioning or "gel" as seemingly described. The form seems to be that which would fit a child much better than an adult.

I recently upgraded my bicycle and the seat that came with it was very narrow and hard. I will never own another bike seat again. The one is so comfortable that my kids all want the same one for their bikes. It’s easy to install; my 15 year old installed it for me.
