The adhesive isn't worth a crap. The material is also very thin (so thin that you can see through it), which makes heating and stretching impossible. Spend a little extra and get a better material

I bought vinyl wrap to use on the interior of my car. When it arrived, I got lucky as it had the same light grey tinge of the brushed metal found in my car, and the metal texture is an added bonus. I can understand why people are complaining about the adhesive because at first glance- this vinyl wrap doesn't seem sticky at all. However, the second I applied the wrap onto a clean surface, it adhered to it good enough for my standards while still being able to be peeled back to remove air bubbles or to re-adjust. I have no complaints when it comes to the vinyl being "horizontal" with the wrap as it works in my favor with my car's metal interior brush strokes, and the wrap wasn't torn by me during the application process, despite me being a bit forceful. My only real gripe with this product is how easily it can get scratched up. I didn't have a proper squegee when I was applying the wrap, so I used my finger to smoothe it out and my fingernail ended up leaving a noticeable scratch on the finished surface. Big sad. TL;DR - It's actually a pretty decent product, and a great value for the price. Just be aware that it can get scratched rather easily.

Looks great. Needed machined tips but this rim was discontinued, so i made my own. Now nobody can tell the difference

3M is an industry leaderin many things. The 1080 vinyl is food sroff amd works llke a charm. Thr coloris more of a pastel baby bluie tham the silver I eantd, bends well when heated and holds well.

The price isn't bad. It adheres pretty good. Make sure you use a very sharp trimming tool. I bought it to cover up cosmetic damage on a range fan. What I didn't know is that the vinyl is see through, so I can still see the cosmetic damage after applying the vinyl. Looks better than it did.
